CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE

"Tube top ko 'yan, Savannah!" Nagising ako sa pagbabangayan ng mga kapatid ko. They were arguing over a tube top. When will they ever grow up?

"Akin 'yan! I bought that from SM, remember?" Ani Savvy.

I covered my ears with a pillow at mariin akong pumikit. This is why I don't want to share a room with them, ever. Ang ingay na nila kahit maaga pa. 

Mabuti nalang at nagparaya si Bella kay Savvy or a war will happen. I stood up and went inside the shower. Last day na namin ngayon at pupunta kami sa Safari. I wore a white tank top, navy green jagger pants and white sneakers. I placed my hair into a messy bun at lumabas na. Hindi na ako nagmake-up dahil hinihintay na nila ako.

Sumakay na kaming lahat at katabi ko nanaman si EJ. As usual, ang ingay ni Jeremy at Xavier. Kulang pa ako sa tulog kaya nag-earphones ako at pumikit. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang akbayan ako ni EJ. 

"You can sleep here para hindi ka magka-stiffed neck." Aniya. I scooted a little bit over to him and placed my head on his shoulders as he wrapped me with his left arm. 

Nagising ako nang malapit na kami sa Cebu Safari. Kinusot ko ang mga mata ko at umayos sa pagkaupo. Nilingon ko si Sage na natutulog at nakatakip ang cap niya sa kanyang mukha. He must be exhausted. 

Nang makarating na kami sa entrance, naunang lumabas ang mga kasama namin. I went to the back seat to wake Sage. I gently moved the black cap away from his face. His eyebrows were furrowed and his breathing is heavy. I brushed my finger against his eyelashes to wake him up. 

"Hey, wake up..." 

Dahan-dahang bumukas ang kanyang mga mata at mukhang gulat pa siya nang makita niya ako. Humikab siya at umayos ng upo. Sinuot niya ang black cap niya at nauna na akong bumaba. 

As we walked towards the lobby, he didn't say a thing. I wonder if something's wrong. He's always quiet, but, today is unusual. I'm intimidated by his aura. Yumuko nalang ako at nagpatuloy sa paglakad. Dumiretso siya kina Krystal kaya napaawang ang labi ko. I walked towards my sisters and EJ. 

"Gabbi, look here." EJ was taking a video of me as I walked towards them. "Beautiful." Aniya.

I laughed and waved at the camera. Nilagyan na kami ng sticker bracelet bago pumasok sa Safari. Ang lawak ng safari kaya namangha ako. It's beautiful. We lined up for the for the 4x4 open safari vehicle. 

I don't know, but I always try to get a glimpse of Sage. I want to ask him what's wrong but I'm afraid he might be annoyed. He's like that. He's easily annoyed when people asks him about things he doesn't want to talk about. I just wish he's more open to me. 

"Gabbi, dito ka umupo." Ani EJ.
