She slowly turned around to face me. Gulat ang ekspresyon ng kanyang mukha habang pinagmamasdan ako.
"A-anong sinabi mo?" Aniya.
"Marry me." Pag-uulit ko.
Tears came rolling down from her eyes and soon enough, her nose became red. I held her face and wiped her tears.
"Seryoso ka ba? Don't play games with me, Alonzo." She whined.
"When did I ever played around with your feelings?" I raised a brow. She bit her lower lip and slowly nodded. "What do you mean by that?" I followed her nodding gesture.
"I will marry you." She plastered a huge smile on her face.
"I wasn't asking for your permission." Pinitik ko ang noo niya at sininghalan niya ako. "You will marry me whether you like it or you like it." I winked at her.
"It's an assurance." She kissed the tip of my nose and smiled.
I can't wait to call her my wife.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked her. She looks like she's going to pass out anytime. I held her hand and squeezed it a bit.
"I'm a little bit nervous. It's my first time to meet your parents." She bit her lower lip.
"They will love you as much as I love you." Malambing kong sabi. She looked at me, then suddenly, she laughed. "What's funny?" Kumunot ang noo ko.
"I'm not used to your sweet talks, Alonzo." Humalakhak siya.
"You have the rest of your life to get used to it." I pinched her cheeks.
Naglakad na kami papasok sa bahay namin. I could feel how nervous Gabbi is. She's so adorable right now, I want to place her inside my pocket and protect her.
