Bonnie woke up confused. Before she opened her eyes she knew she wasn't home, the couch was far too comfortable and not to mention the small body laying on top of her.

Looking down she saw little Hope Mikaelson, curled into her stomach, the girls hand fisted in her shirt and her own hand in the girls hair. To say she was surprised was an understatement. She knew that her and the girl would grow close but not so soon. Yet she couldn't help but adore her already.

"Hard not to fall in love with her isn't it?" She hears. Turning she sees Klaus at the door, hands clasped behind his back and a smirk adorning his face.

"Yea" Bonnie agrees, keeping her voice low, before she raises an eyebrow at him. "How the hell did she come from you?"

"I'll let you know when I figure it out" he says with a smirk in her direction. Walking closer to them he picks the child up into his arms and walks out with her, presumably to take her to bed.

Bonnie sits up leaning back for a moment before realizing her shoes were no longer on her feet. Knitting her eyebrows together she stares at them, wondering how the hell they got off her feet.

Shaking her head she looks at her phone, which was flashing beside her. Grabbing it she looked at the messages. 2 from Alicia, 3 from Lucy and 1 from Elena. She knit her eyebrows at the message from Elena, the doppelgänger turned vampire hadn't tried to contact her since she left. Sighing she opened the ones from Alicia first.

Don't forget I'm meeting my tutor tonight, so I won't be home for dinner
-Ally🥰

And Bon can u plz text Jones he's been pouting all day😂
-Ally🥰

Chuckling lightly Bonnie quickly text her back. A flutter in her stomach at the thought of Jack Jones being pouty over her.

Let us know when u get there and I'll call when I get home, promise

Next she opened Lucy's.

Don't forget girls night
-Luce❤️

I will drag u there by ur hair
-Luce❤️

Bring cake
-Luce❤️

Bonnie laughed as she read the messages, knowing the taller Bennett would have her way. Shaking her head she replied with a simple 'ok Lucy'. Sighing she opened Elena's next.

It made her sad that she felt such trepidation, in only opening a text message, from a girl she once told everything to.

Hey Bonnie, can we talk
-Elena

We miss you
-Elena

She felt her gut twist and her heart clench at the message. It wasn't like she didn't miss them, she missed them every day. She has grown up with them after all. Unfortunately she didn't miss them as much as she thought she should.

"You know when you are deep in thought you get a crease right here" she hears and looks up to see Klaus standing over her, gently pointing to a spot between her eyebrows. It was a testament to how deep in thought she was that she hadn't heard nor felt him enter the room.

"I suppose you would know" she says sending a smirk his way. He remembered all those times she was deep in thought, plotting ways to kill him. She very nearly succeeded, more than once. He hated that look before, now he found it endearing.

"Freya has invited you to stay for dinner, as she put it she's in desperate need for a friend who doesn't have psychotic tendencies" he says smirking as he recalls his older sisters rant on how she needed a semblance of normalcy.
