When I Met You ( Laceless x Prince )

Laceless POV:
My eyes start to flutter open as I can see that I'm in a large living room. I sit up as I rub my head trying to remember how I got here or if I was here before I past out...then it hits me like a tidal wave...

I fell into a bush and my dad had to get me out...worst thing...Prince probably saw me...

"That's So Embarrassing!!" I slap my hands into my face whining as loud as I can in them.
"Oh you're awake. I hope you're feeling alright." That Voice! I know who that is...not again...
Turning to my side I can confirm it's the King.

"O-oH! Cod!!!" I shout which makes him back away frightened. I fumble off the couch I was resting on and step away from him making myself look more like a fool... "I'm s-Sorry! I..." look at me stumble on my words in his presence.

"Hey, hey. It's okay Laceless." He rests his hand upon my shoulder, comforting me with his touch and kind smile. He really is cute...! No! What Am I thinking he's a King you're just a gardener...

I exhale slowly and take his hand off my shoulder which makes me blush since I had to take his hand..I honestly didn't want to let go...when I look directly into his face I can see that he has a light blush grazing upon his cheeks.

He's blushing...!

"...I'm sorry..." I meekly spoke blushing more. I hear him hum out and take a step away from me, which kind of hurt me...and I don't know why...
"It's okay like I said. I just hope you're feeling better. Are you?" He rests his hand on my forehead checking if I'm sick or something.

"Ah-Uhm! Y-yEs!...yes of course sir I'm okay." I back away from his reach covering my face since my blush is showing even more. "...heh~ that's good. Don't want you fainting again." He gathers the blanket I was sleeping on and folds it up.

"Yeah....Wait! Wait! So you saw me pass out!?!" I feel even more embarrassed. I just want to shrink in a hole and stay there. "Well you were in front of me.
I came over to check on you since I saw, I assume your father pull you out of a bush, when you fell in it..."

Oh...end me please....

"Ooh...no....That's Embarrassing! You Saw Me Fall Into A Bush!!!" I whine loud and sit on the floor now covering my face as I just want this day to end or leave this house and Never come back.

"Ah! It's not embarrassing. I always trip and fall into something...my brother is normally the one to fish me out..." he nervously laugh telling me something about him. I calm down and look up at him seeing his warm smile.

"Oh...so...guess we have that in common, huh..." I smile up at him as he nods, reaching a hand down for me to take it. I do without any question and stand in front of him, slightly looking up. We stand gazing at one another as I can feel something powerful wanting me to pull closer.....

"...Laceless..-" the King was about to say something, but then the doors came flying open with me jumping in fear hiding behind Prince. "Yo! Prince, he ain't answering." It was that Eging guy with the female night N-pacer beside him.

They look as intimidating as ever...

"How many times have you called now?" The King asked walking closer to them as I see his expression and the mood around him change in a instance.
"Six times now. All too voice mail." N-pacer spoke, huffing with irritation. They really are worked up over this guy...he must be the one they picked...

Alright then we'll stop. If he doesn't bother showing up today then he'll be left behind." Whoa! What!?!
The king walks back over to me, standing by my side.
"Maybe we should start practicing then. Let's not wait any further." N-pacer claims about to walk out of the room until Eging speaks up.

"What! Come Ooon. I'm really going to be fighting alone against you two again. Man this is why we were looking for a teammate in the first place!"

"Along with other reasons Eging. It's not just about you." N-pacer barks back toward her teammate, who was definitely displeased with her sharp tone.
"Yeah I know that. But going up against you guys is hell!" He whines looking toward Prince for guidance.

"I thought you liked the challenge?" She said in a mocking manner. "N-Pacer!"
"Eging!" They both direct toward one another. This turned to a madhouse real quick.

"Alright stop you two. If it's unfair for Eging then we'll have to find another way to get in training." Prince said. This seems like a team gathering so I think I should take my leave.

As I started to walk slowly away a voice was then directed toward me with a loud shout. "Hey! You!" I freeze fearing if I move I'll be done for. Turning stiffly around I see it's the rowdy Eging.
"I know you. You're the guy that helped me out taking out N-pacer!" He smiles walks next to me.

"Wait really?" N-pacer comes closer to me as Eging now guilds me toward the two yellow monarchs.
"Ah, that's right. I remember the bomb boy..." she said a bit upset. Must not been happy that I got her out...a nervous drop goes down my face.

"Heya, Prince?" The new King takes his direction and looks toward Eging and me. "You think this guy can join the game for today? Hey you got anything going on?" He spoke to his leader then looked down at me. I feel so pathetic next to you...

"Oh I'm sorry, I must be getting back to my work..." I step away from his grip and nod a good bye taking my leave once more. "Wait! You work here?" Eging raised his voice at me. I stop so I can't have a direct conversation with him face to face.

"Yeah...well sort of, I'm helping my dad out for today since he doesn't have a crew to assist him." All look baffled toward me, even Prince sort of.
"I see...you think your dad could let you off early for this?" Eging asked me. He really wants me to go so he's not the even one off.

"It would be really nice to have you around." Prince spoke up rubbing the back of his head, shyly looking my way. "...o-oh..." it goes quiet for a minute as I feel their eyes on me.

"I mean..I can go ask if it's okay with him..." I really want to do this so maybe I'll have to beg my dad to let me off. "Great! If you want to find us we'll be in the back where the stage is at, you remember where it's at, right?" Prince steps closer with a smile on.

His smiles is so beautiful...

I was blushing so much that I just nod and walk away before I start doing anything embarrassing.

Prince watches the light blue squid walk out of the room closing the door behind himself. The new King stares at the door hoping his dad will say yes to him.
{ I want him to come with us for training... } Prince smiles slightly thinking of the blue squid.

Princes teammates were about to leave until they see their leader stare at the door with hearts in his eyes. They glance at one another and snicker which catches Princes attention. "What's the matter?" He innocently asked looking their way.

"Oh it's nothing Prince." N-pacer spoke walking away with a proud smile. Eging nods and follows her. The Monarch, confused by this walks toward them asking what they laughed about but they won't tell him, as they walk toward the stage.
