When I Met You ( Laceless x Prince )

No Mistake Made

Prince POV:
I can't explain what happened last night since my memory is foggy but what I do remember is that I was walking home last night after my hang out with Laceless then just as I got on the road that would lead me home I heard these distant screams.

They disturbed me with every inch of my body. I remember standing still, listening on where they may be coming from and that's when another louder cry for help shot through the sky. That's the reason my feet when flying toward the sounds of agony I heard.

Later I arrive out of breath since it was a far distance away from me and that's when I see it. Zekko the old choice for the monarchs was towering over Laceless who was bleeding from the amount of hits he took.
That's when I suppose snapped out of anger.

I went running over and got him away, fought then fell...

Now it's a whole different location and time. I awake in a soft warm bed with the morning sun shining through the window, spreading all over the walls and floors, lighting it bright. I twist around then sit up with a throbbing headache.

I wince, clenching my head and look around finally seeing it's my room I lay in and so that means I'm in my home. "...my...LACELESS!!" I scream once I remember completely and was about to throw myself out of bed but that's when a familiar voice spoke.

"That's not wise of you to do." I freeze knowing who that voice belongs to. So I stay still and turn my head toward the direction where I heard it come from only to see my brother. "E-Emperor..." nearly a whisper with a whimper once I spot him with a grin.

"Morning brother" nonchalantly he spoke with a reassuring smile. I haven't seen you in a long time..
I cry out without a thought and crawl over hugging him tight and he embraces me back.

"I'm here brother it's okay. It's fine.." he gently rocks me in his arms. I weep amount of waterfalls clenching him tight never wanting to let go but I still need to reach Laceless. So I pull away and wipe my tears getting off my bed but brother stops me.

"No no. You need to rest" I look up at him baffled and pull away. "No...I need to see Laceless! I have to know if he's okay!" Crying once more as my mind thinks the absolute worst. Brother sighs with exhaustion and sets me on the bed, taking a seat beside me.

"Your friend is fine. He has a few bruises here and there but other then that he'll recover..." I feel the weight that was once upon my shoulders lift off from my relief. "..wait..how do you know he's okay?" Questioning my brother with his information.

"When I got the call that you were hurt, I rushed over here and Eging told me everything. I wanted to see if your friend was alright along with you." Sitting while I listen and come up with more questions.

"Who found us and brought Laceless to his home?" Emperor had to think for a while then finally speaks up once he remembered.
"That was his father. He must have heard the ruckus and went out in search. That's when he found Laceless and you unconscious, he called the mansion and Eging and N-pacer went to retrieve you. Then they called me and Eging told me everything."

"You didn't yell at them did you.." I spoke with worry since big brother does tend to point fingers without question. He shakes his head with a smile which reassures me. "Of course not. Your friend is alright, I'm glad you are also and I'm proud you found a new teammate"

He pats my head and sits beside me while in silence until I break it with another loud sob. He jolts and looks down at me as I cover my face with my hands.

"P-Prince..?" He stutters with worry. I cry more intensely as I start to speak out with a hick getting in the way of my words.
"..Why d-did you leave..me as t-the leader..so s-soon...I Have No C-Clue..What..What I've B-Been Dooing...."
