When I Met You ( Laceless x Prince )

Beside You

Laceless makes fast way to where is father could be at. He's super pumped blushing and praying the whole way to the garden area. { they really want me to join their battle! This is so exciting! I just really hope dad will let me go with them.. }

He runs faster passing other people excusing himself for bumping into them, then finally he sees his dad talking to another person that must work at the Monarch household. The blue squid slows down and waits for the two to stop talking.

"Ah. Excuse me I have to talk with my son." Laceless father spots him standing patently and walks closer toward his kid. "You're alright, thank cod..." the father leans down and hugs his kid that laughs slightly.

"Yeah. Prince was taking care of me." They pull away and now start their conversation. "Well he did say he was going to. I'm glad I trusted his word." The father laughs and walks over to pick up a soil bag.
"Alright, well if you're better you think you can help me with the bags."

Laceless falls quiet and takes light steps beside his dad. "..umm actually dad? I was asked to battle with the Monarchs..." that's when the dad drops the soil and stares toward his son with baffled eyes.

"They What!?! They asked you to join a game!" Laceless hesitantly nods darting his eyes until he was pulled into a soft but harsh hug. "Lace! That's Amazing! You always wanted that!" The dad laughs and let's his son go so he can breath.

"Y-yeah! So it's okay! I can Go!?" He asks with happiness, jumping up and down. "Yeah. Go." Laceless hugs his dad once more then rushes away to go find the Monarchs. { I get to battle with them Again!! } he thought with a happy smile plastered on his face.

Running across the yard with happiness keeping him going he finally reaches the destination he's supposed to be at and can see the three just aiming at their targets. Laceless smiles and starts heading down about to greet them.

Prince was the one to spot the blue squid first, he smiles softly and drops his weapon waking over toward Laceless. "Hey! Did he say it's okay!?" Prince was asking with impatience but also will understand if he said no. "My dad said it alright."

Prince keeps his cool but celebrates with joy on the inside. "That's Great!" N-pacer and Eging then walk over greeting the squids presence. "Heya, Laceless Prince was wondering when you'd show up~"
The yellow male Monarch grins evil like.

It makes Prince instantly blush with embarrassment since it was true what he said. "A-Auhh..really..?" Laceless stutters rubbing his head shyly.
N-pacer comes over and whacks Eging over the head for talking about that.

"Eging! Anyway, glad you're here Laceless. Prince shall we break into team now." The King nods and gestures Laceless to follow him. "Laceless and I will be on the same team. N-pacer keep an eye on Eging"
The King and the gardener walk off together as the other two Monarchs watch.

"So? You're thinking the same thing huh?" Eging talks walking to their spawn as N-pacer smiles toward the two that walk away. "..yeah. I'm sure this will be great." She speaks following Eging.

"Alright now its time to change your ink color." Prince smiles watching Laceless start to do it as he blushes with a soft smirk, happy he's doing this.
"Did I do it?" Laceless try's to pull on of his tentacles down to see. Prince ends up blushing Even more now that he sees Laceless in the color of his team.

"You...you look incredible...." this surprises the squid but he nods and is ready to fight beside the new King and against the other two powerful Monarchs.
"Ready?" Prince asked Laceless who's pumped and ready to go. "You bet, lead the way."

The timer goes off and now they all go and ink with one another, splats being hit and bombs being thrown. Laceless and Prince take the middle and start making steady way toward N-pacer and Eging.

"Cut them off." Eging shouts over to N-pacer who's already aiming her weapon at Prince so she can at least make them disband. She lets go of her trigger and the fast ink come hurdling toward Prince.
The Monarch didn't seem to notice the shot and was about to be taken out until Laceless intervenes and knocks themselves out of the line of the shot.

They roll away down a small hill and stop with the sounds of N-pacer and Eging making way to their side. "Shoot! Their starting to make their mark already. But Prince are yo-" Laceless looks down to see that he's towering over the new King.

Both blush in a nick of seconds as the gardener still towers over Princes body. "U-Uhm! S-Sorry! Oh I'm Sorry!!" Laceless gets off and covers is face. Prince huffs out from what he thinks is excitement as he kind of shivers of the thought.

"It's okay...really...." Prince gets up and reaches down for Laceless to take his hand. He does and the two now make their way back up for the central area where N-pacer and Eging already covered the area as the timer now goes off.

"Aw man...." Laceless disappointedly said to himself, head hanging low. Prince felt bad that this didn't go the way he wanted it to but he was happy that he got to play beside Laceless. The other two teammates now make way over to the King and Gardener with proud smiles.

"You guys really took over fast, guess we can't let our guards down against you." Prince spoke nervously to his two teammates. "Nope~ but uh, what took you guys so long to get up here~" Eging mocks how late they were. Prince laughs out with uneasiness and ducks his head low like Laceless.

"Heh~ just messing with you~" Eging pats the boys backs as they walk out of the stage.
"That was a really fun game Mr. Prince. Thank you for letting me join you." Laceless bows toward Prince who gets a light feeling in his stomach.

"No probl-"

"So you replaced me already?" Prince was cut off by a strong voice that catches all attention. They turn and can see the person the Monarchs picked for their new team.

"Zekko."
