When I Met You ( Laceless x Prince )

As the bright morning sun creeps into the room, two inklings sleep on the floor with each other curled up beside one another as one shifts in place as he starts to wake. Prince is the first one to slowing peek his eyes open as he was the one to be hit by the light covering his whole room.

He winces in place as he turns facing the ceiling and rubs his eyes awake. He sits up and starts to adjust his eyes to the brightness of the room and then he suddenly he can feel a presence beside himself. He looks down and can see that it's Laceless.

The inkling is sound asleep who mumbles once in a while as he moves on the ground, shifting in place to sleep in a better position. Prince snickers and lays back down on his stomach to watch his new boyfriend sleep. But sadly that goal came to rest once Laceless started to flutter his eyes open.

He softly sighs and sits up to rub his eyes awake. Prince stays laying on the ground but looks up at the inkling who hasn't seem to notice his presences. Laceless looks around the room in confusion as he doesn't remember where he's at,

Then as he sat his hand down he can feel someone beside him. So he jolts around and what he dreamed of was not just a fantasy. Apparently his dream was real and Prince is right beside him looking up with a founding smile. Laceless doesn't speak a word as he only stares admiring Prince but soon tears slowly begin to fall down his cheeks.

Prince drops his smile and sits up to console his new boyfriend and wants to figure why he's crying all of a sudden.

"Laceless!?" Prince spoke in a worried tone as he places his hands on the others shoulders. He begins to wipe them away and sniff while he grows a smile, making Prince confused. "I'm sorry, it's just...I thought everything was a dream...this, us, here..."

Prince sighs with glee and brings Laceless in for a hug, holding him close telling him that he's here.

"This is real Laceless, it's our reality." Prince hushes his tone while he hugs his boyfriend. Laceless doesn't mind, he enjoys this hug and doesn't want to break away or even leave this room since it's so quiet, all the new Monarch needs is Prince.

"I'm glad it's not a dream..." Laceless whines with a happy grin and then the two break away. "Prince what time is it?" Laceless asks as he now stands up helping Prince stand as well. "Eight I believe.." nonchalantly the new king spoke.

Laceless widens his eyes in shock and starts to rush to go find his clothes. Prince wonders why he's in such a hurry and walks over to sit on the bed and waits for an answer. Laceless found his clothes and goes into the bathroom to change.

"So why are you in a rush?" Prince finally said while he still sits on the bed. "I didn't tell my father where I am! Cod, I'm in so much trouble!!" Laceless runs out the bathroom finally dressed as he makes way over to the door. Prince stands up and watches almost make it until he spoke up.

"How about you stay?" Laceless stops hand on the handle. "No I'm sorry, my dads probably really worried." Prince laughs slightly and rubs his neck.
"No, like stay here in the mansion. Like the other monarchs do...." Prince bites his tongue hoping that wasn't too rushed.

Laceless is frozen in place as his stares into his boyfriends sun yellow eyes.

"...uuuum..." is all Laceless can let out since he's speechless at the time while he stares off another direction. "I know that's a big step..." Prince spoke as he comes to his senses. "That's honestly not a bad idea...it's just my dad, I don't know if he wants me to go off on my own just yet..." Laceless disappointingly said.

"He's protective which is good. It was just a suggestion no life or death answer." Prince walks over to Laceless and gives him a kiss goodbye.
"But you'll be back right..." Laceless held just cheek and smiles bright. "Yeah, but I'll ask my dad one day if it's alright I stay here"
