When I Met You ( Laceless x Prince )

Living Out Our Dream

Laceless with a happy, beaming smile runs down the road until he reaches his home. Out of breath, yes, but he's jumping with excitement and wondering how he'll ask Prince on this date. As he slowly walks down the road he lifts his eyes up and can see Prince himself sitting, patiently waiting on the porch.

This makes Laceless heart skip a few beats but he swallows in some air and take forceful steps toward the King who already spots him and stands also walking toward Laceless. They meet each other half way and now stand awkwardly, staring at one another. Waiting.

"I'm surprise you're back here. I thought Emperor wanted you to stay home for the day." Laceless spoke rubbing his neck, desperately trying to cool himself off. "He did...I just came here to ask you something rather important..." Striking up Laceless' attention he stands straight and gazes into Princes eyes,

"Are you alright? Did Zekko come after you!" The gardener spoke with worry as he took a step closer toward Prince, ready to defend him if he had to. "No,
No, it's...I wanted to know if you...wish to attend me on a date...like a real date..." Prince slowed down his words.

Laceless stands dazed and then burst's with flaming cheeks.

"R-Really..." Laceless stutters breathlessly. Prince hums in delight and nods with his charming smile. "So would you?" Laceless was to satisfied to speak so he does a tiny gesture that moves things along.
"Great! Oh Wow! Okay! Umm..Alright so you want to go out tomorrow!

The new King excitedly spoke running his words wild while talking to the still flustered squid.

"T-Tomorrow! That's a good date. Six o'clock?" Laceless said as Prince nod. "Sounds great.. alright! I'll see you then. I just came by to ask you..." Laceless steps aside so Prince can pass by.

"I'll see you tomorrow at six then." Both laugh nervously and now part ways making it to their homes. Laceless opens his door after fiddling with it for some time, enters then closes his door roughly.

"He asked me out...He Asked Me Out!!" Laceless cheers feeling relived as he walks to his bedroom. He falls once he was close enough to his bed and lays there feeling at peace with himself.

"All I have to do now is confess. I got this!" Laceless beams and starts getting ready for the night as he can see the sun setting in the distance. { tomorrow six o'clock }'

Prince dashes home feeling light as a feather not worrying about anything else. He just wants to head to sleep so he can already start a new day. So now both boys lay calmly in their bed dreaming about what their date will be like...

Or how it may go.

The hours pass onto the next day as the time reaches five forty-five. Prince paces around his room trying to figure out what he should wear. "N-pacer should I go all fancy or just something casual?" Prince holds put a nice looking shirt and a sweater.

"Wear something that will fit the scenery that you planned out." She smiles and helps Prince rom through his clothes but then the young King pauses and starts to sweat with panic. The womanly knight notices and asked if the scenery was ready.

"Noo...I was so excited that he said yes I never got to lay out the items I had imagined..." the young King now starts to panic as he hyperventilates. N-pacer rushes to his side and pats his back. Easing him down.

"It's fine, it's fine, all you need to do is say 'I love you Laceless' and the rest will be up to you and him" she smiles softly as Prince calms down after meeting her gentle eyes. "Alright. It should be about time now, so I'll just throw on this shirt."

Prince holds up a plane white tee shirt and then throws on a black jacket. "You look nice." N-pacer said with a smile. "Thank you!"

"Now I think you should go don't keep him waiting." Prince smiles confidently and gently hugs her and runs out the door once he was ready. The new King runs down his steps and out the door so fast that he missed the handle to his door three times as he tried to close it. But finally managed and now runs down his road to Laceless'

It took about five minutes to get there which was fine, Laceless was already outside his house waiting on the porch looking at the sky and it's beauty. Prince hums fondly and walks naturally over toward him with a bright smile that he can't contain.

Laceless spots his crush and stands up immediately already blushing with excitement and from the way Prince looks. "You look fantastic!" Laceless cheers, commenting on his friends outfit. "Thank you...you look pretty outstanding yourself!" Both boys blush embarrassed but carry on.

"Alright, lets get started shall we!" Laceless holds out his hand for his king to take which he does intensely. Both giggle and now walk together down the road into town so they can start their date there.

Both walk into town really nervously but also excited to be here. The boys walk over to crusty Sean so they can order something to eat before they head up to the cliff. They don't walk and eat they actually take a seat and enjoy the surroundings.

"...this is a little strange to me if I'm being honest..." Laceless mumbled out as he picks at his food. Prince looks up, staring at Laceless who's looking down at his food. "How? Have you never been on a date.." Laceless nods being shy as Prince grins and takes a seat closer to the other squid.

"It fine. I've never been on a date before, this is my first actually and I'm...glad it's with you." Prince makes Laceless look at his face as the two boys smile at one another. They now relax and move on with their meals.

Once done they walk around the square talking about how they trained or what weird moments they did as a child. It was fun to say the least, they laughed and joked about their embarrassing moments and now walk up to the area where they need to be.

Well, they didn't walk up the cliff they needed to be on but they did take this small train and ride it up as far as it went then walked the rest of the way. Laceless was so excited and already knew where to go which made Prince question this location.

They push bushes and leafs and finally arrive at the clearing.

Just as Prince thought it was beautiful. Flowers all around with a few trees surrounding them and now a beautiful sunset with the shimmering city as their view. They don't rush their moment and take a seat on the ground where a blanket Laceless put out lays,

"It's beautiful!" Prince said admiring the sight. Laceless grins and nods. They watch the sunset slowly go down over the distance until it finally disappeared. So now, it's Laceless' main event.

"I want to show you something." Laceless stands up and reaches a hand down for Prince to take. He does without any question and now the two walk into the meadow and stand center in it.

"What are we doing" Prince giggles at Laceless silence then he pulls out a tiny remote and presses a button the lights up the ground. This amazes Prince as he was quite startled from the lights. They depart from holding hands and Prince looks down at the little lanterns Laceless laid out.

"Laceless this is..." the king pauses as he sees Laceless stand there with a smile on reaching out a hand. Prince creeps over and gently take it. The smaller inking pulls Prince close and then a slow melody starts to play.

"Wanna dance with me?" Laceless spoke with a shy voice while he blushed.

"Of course"
