When I Met You ( Laceless x Prince )

Under Attack

Laceless POV:
We now ride into inkopolis and arrive some time around two o'clock. Time slipped but my father won't let that slide so easy as I thought it. Prince and I are off the train and now walking to our homes late at night.

"Are you sure you don't want to spend the night? Your home is a far distances away." Prince asked me in a worried tone with concern in his yellow eyes. "It's alright. I'll text you when I get home" I wave goodbye when he finally let me walk alone.

So now I'm tired and walking in the dark still figuring out what I should tell me dad and how I should say it or he'll be incredibly upset. As I make way back home I start to hear leafs scatter behind me so I stop in my position and look into the pitch black night.

"W-who's there..." my voice cracks in fear as I hesitate to turn back around and walk ahead. Making small steps back I keep my eyes straight trying to keep my mind clear so I have my guard up.

But then I backed up into a stiff object or so I thought was an object.

"Zekko!" I jump back ready to defend myself if I have too but when I did, something hard hit the back of my head and made me fall toward the ground. I coughed and see two other inklings walk around me then too Zekko.

They laugh as I lay on the ground in confusion. About to stand and make a run for it, Zekko came over swiftly and kicked his foot into my chest knocking me back down. Now having his shoe on my chest pushing me into the ground.

"Get Off!!!" I scream but also whimper at how much pressure he's placing upon me. All his friends do is laugh at my weakness as I begin to tear up from the pain. He kneels down which puts more pain on me and whispers into my ear.

"None of this wouldn't have happened if you didn't show up!" He barks out in anger then lifts his foot up off me and grips my jacket pulling me up to my feet.
"I'm glad I showed Up or Prince would have been on the same team as You!!"

I kick him as hard as I could on his foot which makes him back away and scream in agony. Finally I make a run for it, heading for my home. But I don't think I should let them follow me there.

"Get Him!!" Is all I heard Zekko scream out and his two friends rush after me. I didn't get far, in fact they got me in an instant, tripping me and plummeting me into the ground then landing kicks into me making me scream in pain.

I could still see Zekko walk over and laughs in a menacing tone making his buddy's stop my torture treatment. I lay on the ground coughing up some blood with bruises now forming on my chest, arms and legs.

"I didn't have to this if you stayed in your place! You just had to go and ruin my plan!!" He yells and swings his leg back to only come forward and strike me in my stomach, agony fills me as the dread takes over. "STOP!!" I cry out in pain.

"You Got In The Way!" He beats me over and over until I couldn't take it anymore. I block one hand and swing one of my fists up punching him in the face. I back away in fear and stand up before his friends can go down and hit me again.

"What exactly did you even want with Prince!!?" I ask which was stupid of me because I could be running but I wouldn't get far because of my legs.
"I wanted his fortune! His riches, money earnings!! I would have gotten all that if I stayed on the team! I would have been filthy rich!!!"

"You're full of Greed! You only want his money! How Could You Think That About Someone Who's So Pure And Worth More Then Some Cash!!!" I shout back since Prince is so much more then some lousy money. He's one of a kind. A rare gem.

"He's Rich, He's Cute, He Has A Cod Damn Mansion!! I Would Honestly Have It All! But You Fucked It Up!!!" He shouts and jumps at me with anger and blood in his eyes. He wants to do me harm because I foiled his plans on getting his fortune.

I know he won't get Prince because...my king is worth more then him!

I stand there wanting to run away but I couldn't, he grabs and pulls me to the ground beating me until I hear his friends finally shout out for him to stop but he didn't and he continued on hitting me until I bleed out.

that's when I pass out...

"GET AWAY FROM HIM!!!" Prince suddenly shouts, running over and landing a hard punch on Zekkos face. His friends gasp and quickly make a run for their own safety leaving their leader behind.

"COWARDS!!!" He shouts and faces Prince in anger. Then the young King sees how much damage the guy has done to Laceless which gets him more overwhelming in anger. "You hurt him." Prince deeply said readying himself.

"Honestly why bother with him when you can have someone even better?" Zekko tired to say seductively but Prince boils up more and wants to fight him even if he gets hurt. He wants him to get away from Laceless.

"Laceless Will Always Be A Better Man Then You'll EVER Be!!" That one sentence put Zekko in a foul mood. He didn't hesitate to go after Prince and throw punches. But lucky for the new King he was fast enough to dodge and run past Zekko to grab Laceless.

Once he did he was greeted by a hard punch to his side, knocking Prince over and letting Laceless fall back down out of his arms. Prince had no choice but to fight back. He leans up and swings a hard hit at Zekko.

Then jumps back to only pull out his weapon that made Zekko freeze in place. "I want you out of my sight and far away from Laceless and my team and anyone else I know!!" Prince shouts holding his weapon steady but then someone creeped up behind and knocked him out.

Prince falls flat onto the floor making Zekko baffled.

"Why the fuck did you guys run and leave me..." Zekko spoke as he now let's out a breath of relief walking toward his teammates. "To get a rock for your dumbass." Negative spoke and dropped it down.

"So what about them?" The other boy spoke looking at Zekko. The leader looks down and scoffs sharply walking away. "Leave them. They're no use anymore" The two inklings look down then back to their leader and follow.

Now Prince and Laceless lay helplessly on the ground passed out.
