When I Met You ( Laceless x Prince )

I Found

All three of the sun yellow inklings walk into the lobby as they start to pull up what kind of stages there are today. Prince is the one to look through the battles. Now there are certain times where random battles are held at different times than team battles. So it's safe to just click on one random stage.

"Alright, which stage would you guys want to take?" Prince turns to ask his two part team. "I believe we should split up. That'll let us cover more ground." N-pacer speaks as Eging nods beside her.

"Okay. Then what do we want. Rank or turf?" Eging is the one to basically jump and fly over to the pad, taking hold of it as he scans through. "Can I take rank!?" N-pacer and Prince are the ones surprised to see him this thrilled about heading into a stage.

But they understand since them too are also feeling some sort of an overwhelmed emotion.

"Well I suppose it's alright since splat zones are on today...just remember when you find someone please approach Politely and just get their info." Prince was the one to eye Eging when he said approach politely.

"I'm approachable!" Eging scoffs and turns to the pad. "Someone who needs to say that doesn't really mean they are.." N-pacer speaks up as Eging heard and glares, she does the same back but more menacing. "Stop." Prince said in a tired tone as he grips both his teammates shoulders.

"Eging, take the rank battles. You now know what to do when you find someone." The sun yellow squid kid nods and teleports into a stage. Now that's left is N-pacer and Prince. "Block A or B?" He goes and ask her which one she wants.

"Block B. Good luck Prince." She takes the pad and teleports to the stage she wants to go. { I hope we find someone good today. They're right, we do need to start things up again. I can't be afraid now that I'm the leader...}

Prince didn't realize that he was day dreaming as he clicked into a stage. The place was pretty packed for just a random battle, the new King makes his way to one of the rails so he has a good view on who he's looking for.

Alright! Hope you're having a fantastic morning! Today at this stage we have a group of squids who are fighting for the win! Let's get into it with introductions. On the left we have, team arctic blue and flamingo pink!
*just roll with it*

Prince stands tall and confident even if he's not the one playing, he still is very much excited to see who he finds. One team arctic blue their is one player who is nervous beyond belief, shaking in his shoes and gripping his weapon as it slips once in a while.

{ I can do this, I can do this! This is no different from back home. You already know what to do...}
One with a tide up pony tail and white Laceless dakroniks thought, tightening his weapon in hand.

"Let's start this game and we better win. I don't want any of you messing it up. Got That!?" The supposed leader speaks to his random mates on the spawn point as the timer now starts.

Laceless is the one to kick off by jumping down and shooting around, covering as much as possible.
The stage is Humpback Pump Track and so far no one has reached the central area.

"Flank Left!" The 'leader' spoke to Laceless and some random girl he didn't know. They do as they were told and put up the best fight they possibly could gather. Laceless was ready for a special and used his bombs to cover area as well as splat people.

"Nice one!" The girl shouted over to him. He smiles at the compliment and started heading forward inking along the way. It's a random battle full of people who know what they're doing, but Laceless is the one who has a clear sighting and amazing aim.

His skills are on point.

But one squid didn't like the fact that a random boy is getting more praise and attention then himself.
The 'leader' scowls and inks his area as he makes way over to where Laceless is fighting.

The blue squids are now stance by stance taking on the enemy. Laceless does his part in dodging around making him a tougher target as the leader shoots forward. Soon enough Laceless was victory's in the end and splatted the enemy.

"WOO!" His teammates shout over since they saw the battle. This ticked of the supposed leader and instead of going back to inking he decided to aim for Laceless. As the boy was making way past, the guy decided to trip him into enemy territory.

Laceless stumbles and falls onto the ground as squids jump over him heading into the central.

"That's not cool man! He was doing his job!" A guy on Laceless side spoke up about the outcome.
"Shut up." Is all the leader said and swam away leaving his mates in the cross fire.

{ How cruel. He has no pride to call himself a leader...} Prince thought as he continues to watch the players, but one specific person caught his eye. Laceless stands up and fights to the best limit he has. There's no time to lay down. He wants to take this win home!

"U-uhm...l-let's bring it home..Guys!" Laceless shouts it loud enough to were his two mates heard.
"Yeah!!" They both scream and are heading into the mess. Timer is almost down but the enemy side was being pushed back until they pull out their last trick.

"SPECIAL WEAPONS!!!!" All on the enemies side had tenta missiles and aimed at every last player.
They shoot them off as they being flying the direction Laceless and the rest are at.

They move as the ground shakes from the hard hits, two players are done in as the leader and Laceless are the only ones left. Still the missiles are flying toward them as they dodge away but soon are trapped in a corner.

"We have to move!" Laceless spoke as he runs forward gripping the leaders hand. "You can't make it out!" The guy jolts his hand out of Laceless grip. The blue squid stands for a while and watches the leader. "You don't know that unless you try."

Laceless then took his leave and just by a hair he made it out with only a few light splats. But the leader was done in.

_Game Team Arctic blue wins!_

"Nice Win!!" The two team mates cheer as they high five one another. The leader stands away from them as he sees no point in joining until Laceless approach's. They stand tall looking at each other until he puts his hand out for the leader to shake.

"That was a good game." Laceless waits for the other to take his hand, but he never did, all was left to say was a deep scoff as he walked off leaving a few last words behind.

"You'll never be great like the real players. Your positive attitude will get you no where." The leader walks off but was stopped by a crowd of cheers beginning to rise behind him and Laceless. And to their surprise they see the New King approaching.
