When You Love Someone

Prince POV:
Laceless and I take or seats on the ground as we surround ourselves in the grass. The air blows slightly, moving our tentacles too the wind. Silent falls between us but it's not an awkward situation it's more relaxing and pleasant.

My eye sight seems to drift toward him as I see that his eyes are closed with his head tilt up toward the sky...he looks like a real angel...he looks so at peace and so beautiful that it makes be blush and feel some fluttering in my chest. This is strange...I thought to myself as I still glance toward him, admire his aura.

I was starring at him for to long since he ends up looking my way as our eyes finally meet. My heart begins to pump rapidly with its drumming that I'm afraid he may hear it. As I stare more towards him I can see his blush against his cheeks.

This makes me begin to feel weak all over !

"You alright" his soft heavenly voice spoke with concern that I, myself, felt guilty for making him worry. "Just fine....." I bite my tongue once I get a thought in my head that I wish to say aloud.
But I fear this question may scare him away...

"Prince. I've known you for some time, and I can tell when you are not fine." He looks deep into my eyes as I can feel like he's some how pulling me closer without even laying a hand on me. His hush voice is very persuasive.

"..alright you got me. Laceless? If I ask you this, will you...not want to see me?..." he flashes a puzzled expression as if he's going to expect something horrific. He doesn't have to worry. What I'm about to ask him is something on a meaningful level.

"...Prince. There is nothing nor no one in this world that will make me stop speaking to you." He said with pride that it made me quiver with happiness and delight. I blush unexpectedly but carry on with what I want to ask him. "Have you...ever..." pausing midway trying to get my courage back.

He waits patiently which settles my nerves. I wait about a few more seconds then move forward.

"...have you...liked someone...romantically that is..." I dip my head low with blush covering my face, feeling his stunned eyes upon me. This was a stupid thing to ask, but I dearly wish to know. If he's dated anyone then.....if he's dated someone then that's fine. Because one day I want to be by his side.

With this intense air I feel, it's pressure overwhelms me. While I wait for something to come out of him all he did was stand up and walk away....It was nice while it lasted...I said nearly crying in my head. But to my surprise he came back since I heard his approaching footsteps against the grass.

I keep my head low not wanting him to see me with glossy eyes. But then I suddenly feel his soft tender touch on my chin, where he lifts my head up with our eyes meeting one another. I glance down and spot that he has a flower in his grasp and then I glance back into his mesmerizing eyes.

"..I'm not positively sure. But in the future I hope I meet someone. Someone I can call my own and love. That's what I said in the past and today is my future~" Laceless said with glee as he places the yellow rose behind my ear.

Then he gently cups his hands on my cheeks and pulls me closer to his face while I blush feeling like I'm about to melt in his arms.

"Laceless..." I mumble out wanting him to kiss me so badly that it hurts since we're nearly inches away from each other's lips. "Prince...I Lov-" *Ring~*
I fall back and land in the grass hearing my phone go off as Laceless stands up and walks into his porch.

I sit up with disappointment knowing I just lost my chance to kiss someone who I'm falling romantically for. "Hello." I greeted with irritation toward the squid on the other end.

# Prince, Where are you at. You're not supposed to be out of the house until you properly held.

"You said when I feel better. My headaches gone and I just wanted to see Laceless."

# So you're at the gardeners house. I'll be there in five.

"Brother, Wait No!" Beep-beep-beep***

"He Hung Up One Me!" I growl and fall back against the grass extremely upset toward everything at the moment. I was about to hear what Laceless had to say and now I can't ask him because that'd be too weird. I'm now genuinely miserable at the moment and can't go against it.

"Who was that..?" Laceless finally spoke up with a weak, shy voice that it made my heart patter with lust. But that came to an end when I thought about who called. That spoilsport...I sit up and look at Laceless. "My brother. He'll be coming to pick me up in a short time." I said as I stand walking over to sit beside him.

"I wish you didn't have to leave...I like having you over." He smiles fondly at me and I do the same.
"I wish I can come over more often. But my brother will be sticking around for a while so he'll be basically shadowing me.." I annoyingly spoke but happy that my brother will be staying for some time.

"It's the same story with my father. But can't your parents watch you?"

"..."

He doesn't know...

Should I tell him? My folks aren't around. It's mostly brother and I along with N-pacer and Eging. He doesn't know...but I should tell him, right?

"Do you not have them around..." he sadly spoke with sorrow filled eyes as he looks my way. "My dad basically isn't around that often. He's always traveling around. On the clock he always said."

"And...your mother?"

"..she died after she gave birth to me...so big brother is the only one who remembers her. I never got the chance to see or talk to her..." My voice was so soft that you could barely hear. It was full of sorrow and regret. I could feel Laceless become remorseful as he ducks his head low and whisper a few words to himself that catches my attention.

"What are you doing..?" I ask him looking confused and for an answer. But all he does is continue and whisper under his breath. He then claps his hands and looks my way and gives me an overwhelming hug but that's full of love with pure heart.

"I gave prayers to your mom. She gave the Monarchs and everyone someone who's so full of life."

I lean into his arms more and embrace his warmth as I feel my heart beat with rhythm. I never meet someone who's as great as Laceless before. "Prince." I turn to the doorway and spot my brother along with Eging and N-pacer. I feel embarrassed knowing how they caught Laceless and I hugging.

He pulls away and stands up. But his stance is shaky since he's on edge now that he sees my intimidating brother. "Did you just walk in?" I ask Emperor.
"Yeah. I apologize, no one didn't answer." He does a quick apologetic bow toward Laceless.

"My f-fault for not a-answering..." he stutters with fear. I stand knowing it's now that time to leave so I walk beside Emperor as he says goodbye to Laceless.
"Thank you for accompanying my brother. I hope you feel better soon." He said genuinely as him and I now exit the house.

Laceless stands in his back yard watching all the monarchs leave except Eging. "How do you feel?" He asked the smaller squid. "Better. But still sore..." he rubs his head with shame but Eging pats his back softly not wanting to harm him.

"Yeah..but don't worry Zekko got a message. He shouldn't be coming after you or Prince." The originally blue squid smiles kindly toward the monarch. He smiles now walking toward the doorway into the house but Laceless speaks up about something.

"Hey Eging, could you help me with something.." The monarch takes curiosity and looks back at Laceless. "Sure. What with?" Laceless pauses and bite his lip but then shouts out confidently.

"Help Me Confess My Love For Prince!"
