Chapter 3

Rianne's POV

It's finally 6pm! Work is done.

"Una na po ako ate Ria!"
"Ako din po."
"Uwi na po ako ate."
"Ria sabay na ako sakanila."

"Sge, ingat kayo! Salamat. Sa Monday ulit!" I said and gave each one of them a hug.

Ako talaga ang nagsasara ng shop kaya ako ang pinaka huling umuuwi. Good thing, Friday ngayon. We don't open at Saturdays and Sundays. Rest day naming lahat yon. And, malapit kami sa mga schools and offices. Which makes the shop full, dahil sa mga students at employees. Kapag walang trabaho at classes, medyo lugi kami, kaya hindi nalang kami nagbubukas.

I was locking the cashier box when someone entered to the shop. It was Paolo, my high school friend.

"Hey! Buti naka dalaw ka dito?" I said and run to him to give him a hug.

"Oo nga eh, maaga kasi akong natapos sa paground ng mga patient ko kaya naisipan kong dumalaw dito."

Paolo Padilla, PhD. Matalino, gwapo, mayaman, lahat ata nasa kanya na. (Medyo baklursh nga lang)

"So ano? May bagong chika ka ba? Coffee you want?"

"No, I'm fine. I just wanna remind you na Daniella will open her new reastaurant and she wants us to have dinner there on Sunday."

"Tangina, oo nga pala. Thank you for reminding me. Nakalimutan ko."

"You're still workaholic, are you? You know what, I'll ask them to have a Group Vacation. Babad na babad na tayo sa work."

I laughed a little and said "Dimushur kung babad. Char, di ako sure dyan sa pa Vacation mo, busy ako."

"Oh don't worry, I will ask permission to Tita and Tito. Basta, be there okay? I need to go na, I'll see you there." he said and gave me a long hug before going out.

After ko isara yung shop agad na akong umuwi at nagpahinga.

Lory's POV

It's currently 6pm. And I'm on my way to our house to have dinner with my family. After a couple of minutes dumating na din ako sa bahay. Which is good kasi minsan dumadating ako dito more than an hour because of traffic.

"Ma, I'm here."

"Dining Area anak!"

"Hi Ma" I said and gave Mama a kiss on the forehead. Same as Papa.

"Kuya Gray, you're here! Kelan ka pa umuwi?" I ask and gave him a tight hug.

"Kanina lang, pupuntahan sana kita sa office mo but your secretary told me ayaw mo magpa disturb." He said and and shook his head.

"Kuya, you should've told me."

"Lory, inaabuso mo na naman ang katawan mo." Ma said.

Umupo ako sa tabi ni kuya at nagsimula na kaming kumain.

"Anak, pahinga ka muna. Vacation. Go wherever you want to." Papa said while drinking his wine.

"Oo nga naman Lory, napaka workaholic mo." Kuya agreed.

"I'll think about it," I said and heaved a deep sigh.

We were enjoying our conversation when my phone suddenly vibrates. I looked at it and I saw a message from Aga, he sent me the location of the restaurant and the date.

"Pa, Ma, Aga invited me to dinner this Sunday. So I will not be around."

"Lory, si Aga pa rin lang ba ang kaibigan mo?" Kuya asked with a frowned face.

"Well, yeah, but he said he'll introduce me to his squad. So hopefully, I'll have new kaibigans."

He nodded in response.

"I'll go to my room na. I want to rest, pagod ako kanina sa office eh. Good night ma, pa, kuya." I said and gave each one of them a hug.
