Chapter 25

Ria's POV

Umuwi na ang iba kanina, sila Vivoree, Ion, Miguel, Lory, at ako nalang yung natitira dito. Kanina pa kami dito sa balcony nila sa 2nd floor, nagpapahangin habang nagchichikahan.

"Mauna na din ako ah, maaga pa kami ni Ion bukas eh, e me-meet pa namin yung client." Miguel said as he stood up and gave each one of us a hug.

"Kami din, kasi nga maaga pa sila bebe bukas tsaka pagod na ako, need ko na magbeauty rest." Vivoree said. "Bebe, ipaandar mo na yung sasakyan, ihahatid muna natin si Miguel." He added.

Bumaba na si Miguel at Ion. Nakita namin silang lumabas sa gate at pumasok na sa kotse.

"Oh, kayong dalawa nalang yung andito. Usap lang ah? Walang chukchakan." V said as he gave us a hug.

"Siraulo ka talaga kahit kelan eh." Sagot ko sabay irap sa kanya.

"Lab niyo naman. Una na kami ah! Ingat kayo dito." V replied and went outside.

Kaming dalawa nalang ni Lory ang andito, pinapanood namin ang van nila papalayo.

"It's getting late, dito ka nalang matulog." Lory said.

"No, it's okay. May mga taxi pa naman dyan sa labas eh." I said.

"It's not safe. You can stay here, or if gusto mo talagang umuwi, ihahatid kita."

"Wag na, alam kong pagod ka ka-kaprepare sa mga pagkain kanina. You need to rest."

"I can't rest if you'll go home this late without me. Iiwan mo’ko?" She said with a sad expression on her face.

Iiwan mo nga ako eh, nagreklamo ba ako?

"Argh! Okay fine, I'll stay." I said feeling defeated, I saw her laughed.

"You can't tiis me." She said while giggling.

How I love seeing her laugh, hearing her giggles. Goodness!

After that, silenced enveloped us

"So, wanna talk about it?" She said breaking the silence.

"Usap saan?" I replied.

"Wait I'll get some ice cream muna. What flavor do you want?" Sabi niya.

"Uhm, cookies n cream." I said at dali-dali siyang tumakbo pababa.

Ilang minuto pa ay bumalik na siya dala-dala ang dalawang ice cream.

"Here's your cookies n cream madam!" She said and sat beside me.

"So anong sinasabi mong gusto kong pag-usapan?" Tanong ko habang binubuksan ang ice cream.

"You know, first time na wala si Uno sa ganap nating magkakaibigan. And I noticed how quiet you were kanina, I assume you're thinking about him. So, what happened?" She asked and took a spoonful of ice cream.

"Ah yun ba." I said while looking at the moon.

"Hey I'm not making pilit to you ha? I just wanna help you, and to make you feel better." She replied.

I sighed and looked at her.

"Uno's being busy na this past few days, palagi na kaming nag-aaway kahit sa maliliit na bagay inaawayan namin. Di naman kami ganito dati eh, di niya sinasabayan yung galit ko. Kung pagod siya makipag-usap sa akin naiintindihan ko naman, pero sana di yung umaabot na kami ng ilang araw na walang usapan. Kapag tinatawagan ko palagi niyang sinasabi na mamaya na kasi busy daw siya. Kahit sa text di niya ako nirereplyan." I said, I look away from her as I felt my tears running down to my cheeks.

Lory's POV

"-kahit sa text hindi niya ako nirereplyan." I saw her looking away at me. When I heard her sobs, I immediately went closer to her.

"Hey." I said as I gently hold her chin and made her face me, I saw her face getting wet because of her tears. I wiped it out using my thumb.

I hate seeing her cry. Masakit para sa akin ang nakikita siyang nasasaktan.

"Magiging okay din kayo, normal lang naman yan sa mga relationships na mag-away eh, maybe may problem yun sa work niya kaya ganun yun. I'm a busy person too Ria kaya medyo I understand Uno. Look, here's a tip, kapag busy yung person, puntahan mo sa office nila kasi he can't be mad at his bisitas. Ganon yung ginagawa nila V sa akin dati kapag di ko narereplyan yung text nila. Just a friendly tip that might help you." I adviced.

"Hindi ko alam kung magiging masaya ako sa advice mo or mabibwisit sa mga mixed mong words." She said and smiled while wiping her tears away.

"O, don't cry na. Baka they will tell na inaway kita." I said and hug her. She hugged me back while her head was resting on my shoulder. Sitting under the full moon with the person I love and I wanted to be with while the cold breeze touches our skin, this. This is what I badly needed before I will go to NYC.

I will freakin miss this lady beside me. I will miss you my Mina.
