Moving On

"I was just wondering have you seen this?"

I was now going on month 4 without hearing from Charlie. I had decided to let it go. The more time that went by, the madder I got. I hadn't heard from Tyler anymore, so I assumed she was at least safe. Either that or it she was caught up in some Coca shit that none of them would tell me about. Mariah would occasionally ask me if I had heard from her. It's been a while since she had reached out though. If Charlie didn't want to be with me or felt like the Mya situation was too much, she should have at least sat me down and told me to my face. The fact that she had completely just gone ghost without a word pissed me off.

I wasn't going to try to prove anything to her anymore.

On the other hand Mya was 8 months pregnant now. Honestly, things had been going better since I didn't have to constantly worry about considering Charlie's feelings. I moved back into my apartment, but I spent most nights at Mya's house. We weren't officially back together but for the past month in a half, it has felt like it. I tried to hold out in case Charlie reached out, but it was ridiculous to put my life on hold for somebody who didn't think I was worth a conversation.

I was actually thinking about calling the wedding back on. Mya has been hinting that she still wanted to get married. I didn't understand why, but I knew love could be blind sometimes. I was only hesitant because I felt like we hadn't really resolved the fact that I had fell in love with someone else. I didn't want to be married and that become a deep rooted issue in the relationship. We have yet to really talk about it. She just seemed happy that Charlie was gone and we were spending more time together.

"Babe! Are you hungry?" I heard Mya yell from the kitchen. "Nah. I'm about to go to this interview and then to the studio. I'll get something while I'm out."

I agreed to do the interview after my manager confirmed that there were no Charlie questions. Lately, that was all I was getting asked about. I never answered them. I would always say "Next question" and keep it moving.

I put my shoes on so I could get ready to leave. "You really need to go lay down Mama. Get some rest." I told her before pecking her lips. "Okay. Are you coming back?" "Do you want me to?" "You know that I do, or else I wouldn't be asking."

I smiled and kissed her again. "I'll be back." I chuckled at her blushing and waddling her way up the stairs.

"They're going to do the interview at the studio." My new manager Kasey told me. "That's cool I'm pulling up now." "Okay we're already inside."

I felt my nerves getting the best of me as I walked in. As bad as I hated interviews I needed some publicity to promote this album. I wished Kasey would have set it up with someone other than Vlad, but I was going to just go with the flow.
