Byeol is still struggling with everything
Byeol sat up in her bed, sighing. She had been going out more, making sure someone was with her. But she was a little paranoid. JB had talked to the company and he assured her that they were taking measures against her ex and her ex-friend. It did little to alleviate her anxiety.
She still found herself looking over her shoulder when she would go out. A mini panic attack every time someone rang her doorbell or knocked and she was the only one home. "Moon! C'mon, we're gonna be late." She smiled at BamBam's voice.
He was a saint. Yugyeom had gone back to visit his parents in his hometown for the week and BamBam had offered to stay with her until he got back. The others offered to switch off, but he had specifically cleared his schedule just to stay with her.
"Give me 10 and I'll be ready." He was taking her out shopping today, wanting to get her out of the stuffy apartment and as always, trying desperately to upgrade her fashion choices. She didn't mind, knowing she needed to get out before cabin fever sunk in. Maybe she'd even be nice today and let him buy her some frilly thing that she'd promise to wear but accidentally lose.
An hour later they were walking into the mall and Byeol had basically glued herself to Bam's side. He only chuckled, linking their arms together. "I'll be with you the whole time, don't worry." She scrunched her nose and scoffed. "What about when I need to use the bathroom?"
He shrugged, eyes darting around to the different stores. "I'll wait outside the stall, I guess." She looked at him with wide eyes as he dragged her into a store but then shook her head. This was BamBam she was talking too. He had no shame.
They shopped for a while and she was nice and let him buy her a few things, some of it she actually would wear. For special occasions. Very special occasions. "C'mon. Jinyoung is gonna meet us nearby and get lunch." She nodded, turning to link her arm with his again when a crowd of people surged past them.
She was little and couldn't see over the heads of everyone and she definitely couldn't see BamBam anywhere. "Moon!" She heard him shouting but she couldn't find him. It was like she was in the scene of movie. People all around her, her standing and spinning around looking for her parent like a lost child. She just waiting for when someone grabbed her wrist and pulled her away forever.
She'd never see the boys or Korea again. She'd be taken overseas and probably sold as some sex slave. She knew she was being absurd and that her thoughts were just the panic she was feeling, but she couldn't help it. She was in flight mode right now and she needed to find BamBam.
Then the faces started too look like that of her ex's. She panicked more, feeling her breath get shorted and her hands start shaking. Someone raised their hand to answer their phone and she flinched, whimpering slightly. Someone did grab her wrist and she lost it.
"Please don't take me! Don't hurt me!" People were looking at her like she was crazy and she covered her face. "Moon, it's just me." She relaxed a little at BamBam's voice as he pulled her into him. She was shaking like a leaf and he was worried.
"C'mon. I'll have Jinyoung pick up food and we'll go home." She didn't say anything, keeping her face buried in his arm as he quickly led them out back to the car. She heard him talking to someone on the phone and figured it was Jinyoung.
"Are you alright?" He asked quietly after hanging up. She looked up at him and felt guilt swarm her at the worry in his eyes. "I'm—I'm sorry." She said, tearing up. She hated feeling this weak after she had promised herself she'd never let anything make her feel this way again.
"There's nothing to be sorry for, love. C'mere." He pulled her to his side and she buried her face in his chest again. By the time they reached the apartment, she had calmed down some. She was still trembling and her heart was still beating fast but her breath was back to normal.
Jinyoung was running up to them as they walked towards the front door. "Why'd you let her out of your sight?!" He scolded BamBam, pulling her to him and running his fingers through her hair. "I didn't! There was just a lot of people and we got separated!"
Byeol whimpered. "It wasn't his fault, oppa. Please don't be mad." Jinyoung sighed, taking a deep breath before walking them into her apartment. "I bought your favorite." He said, nodding towards the take out bags on the counter and she smiled weakly. She wasn't really hungry anymore.
"Can I just lay down for a bit? I'm really tired." Jinyoung nodded and she went and curled under the sheets. She fell asleep almost instantly. BamBam sighed, running his fingers through his hair.
"I just wanted to get her out. I swear I didn't mean for this to happen." Jinyoung patted his back, shaking his head. "It's not your fault, Bam. It could've happened if it wasn't you. She's alright, that's all that matters." BamBam looked towards your bedroom door, shaking his head.
"She hasn't been alright for weeks, hyung."
