Odette reread the poem she wrote for Ethan.

"Love is thicker than blood,

And deeper than all the burgundy pools I've bleed.

Love is sharper than blades,

Slicing my heart in twain

Two pieces to feed you.

Decorated

and

dressed up

To trick you into thinking they're worthy of being inside of you and your beautiful perfection.

Love is poison

Love is pain

Love is passion.

Love is the life you breathe into me,

The words you whisper to me,

The taste of your skin in the night,

and the weight of your body on mine.

Love is every thing I have with you."

It wasn't right, she crumpled it and tossed it in the pile with all the others.
