Chapter 27

It was five pm when I decided to fix myself. I wore a simple white dress and my favorite yellow converse

Exactly six pm nag ring ang doorbell ,I grabbed my coat at excited na binuksan ang pinto. I was welcome by a tight hug from Kaden.

"I miss you...it was hell not seing you for a day" nakangusong sabi niya. I gave him a quick peck on the lips.

"I miss you you more" matamis na isinabi ko. Muli siyang ngumuso.

"Pa kiss ulit " muli I gave him a quick kiss bago ako kumalas sa pag ka yakap sa kanya.

Nang kumalas ako sa pag kayakap ay bahagyang natulala ako, messy hair, plain black shirt, maong pants and his white converse.

"Baby? "

I slightly shook my head at ngumiti sa kanya.

"Yes? "

"I said I bought us fried chicken"

"Babe.. Hindi ka pa ba nag sasawa sa Chicken? " Natatawang tanong ko. Umiling siya at ngumiti saakin.

"It's your favorite... Your favorite is my favorite"

I felt my heart warm up dahil sa sinabi niya.

"I love you" wala sa sariling naibulalas ko. He kissed me on the forehead at looked me like I am the most important person in his eyes right now... It made my heart swell in happiness. 

He opened the door on the passenger side at ng makapasok ako sa loob ay agad na siyang sumunod.

I was busy munching on my fried chicken occasionally feeding some to Kaden.

"Baby hindi ka ba mag sasawa sa fried chicken? " tanong niya bago ko isubo ang isang piece ng chicken.

"Nope...Chicken is like my happy meal... My day wont be complete kung hindi ako kakain kahit isang piece ng chicken." paliwanag ko sa kanya..

"Baby" tawag muli niya saakin.

"mmm? " bahagyang lumingon siya saakin.

"You're my happy meal"

Unti unting nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa narinig I bit the inside of my cheek para pigilan ang ngiting na mumuo sa bibig ko.

Malakas kong pinalo si Kaden sa braso

"Kaden nga.. Parang tanga"

"What??.. Totoo naman" he winked.

Umiwas ako ng tingin at tumingin nalng sa labas. Napansin ko na nasa mataas na lugar pala kami.I was stunned from the view of light from the houses sa baba ng bundok

"Ang ganda ng view" wala sariling sabi ko.

"You're beautiful" he said still looking at the road...  I felt my heart flutter na parang teenager na  nakita si crush.

After a few more hours of driving napansin ko na  ang turbine sa mga bundok.

"Kaden punta ba tayo sa may wind farm? " excited na tanong ko.

"Yes... i remembered before you told me you wanted to go.... So yeah"

Napapalakpak naman ako sa tuwa... I really wanted to go there before pero hindi natutuloy because of se un known reasons.

"Pero hindi ba sarado yon? " 

He gave a cheeky smile  and wink

"Trust me baby "  

Hindi na ako nag salita at inadmire nlang ang paligid.

"Kaden I think nalagpasan na natin yung entrance" 

He just glanced at me and smiled.. Nag patuloy lang siya sa pag mamaneho pataas hanggang sa maka rating maki sa pang huling entrance.

He manoeuvred his car inside the entrance.huminto kami sa tabi ng isang turbine na malapit sa bangin.

"Baby wear this... Its cold outside" abot niya saakin ng isang oversized hoodie. Agad ko itong isinuot. 
Binuksan ni Kaden ang backseat at kinuha ang isang picnic blanket at basket. 

We we in the middle of eating when
Kaden asks me out of nowhere

"Baby...why do you like fried chicken so much..yung totoo"

I looked at him and shrug my shoulders.

"Ganito kasi yan...Alam mo ba nung bata ako lahat ng gamit ko gamit ni din ng kambal...pero yung gamit nila sa kanila lang...ganon din sa pagkain...and friedchicken it was the only thing na hindi ko kailangan i share sa kanila. .. Kasi Allergic sila sa chicken...I always request it na lutuin ng cook namin sa house...I guess it just grew on me"

Tumango tango siya at sinubuan ako ng chicken.

"Ikaw... Anong favorite food mo? " tanong ko sa kanya.

"Unmm.....ano jellyace" natawa naman ako sa sinagot niya.

"Yung totoo nga kasi "

"seriously..baby I really like eating jellyace"

"Why jellyace?...because its jiggly and wiggly?" Curious na tanong ko sa kanya. 

He just laugh " thats the exact words I heard you said back then"

Napakunot naman ang noo ko sa sinabi niya.

"What do you mean?"

"Kaya favorite ko jellyace kasi sabi mo nuon its fun to eat kasi ng its jiggly and wiggly"

I was stunned for a second we met before...

"Nagkita na tayo nuon? " he nodded hi headand gave me a warm smile

"Oo... Nung sixth birthday ni Germana.. Nag lalakad ako nun sa second floor ng bahay ny o tapos naabutan kita sa balcony you were playing..  Nilapitan kita non tapos nakita ko you were playing with jello... Tapos suddenly you blurted out that its fun to eat Jello because it jiggly and wiggly"

Mahabang kwento niya

Pagkatapos naming kumainay nahiga kami..I used kadens shoulder as a piilow at tinignan ang bituin sa langit...

"How did you fell in love with me? " I suddenly blurted out.

"Hindi ko alam" tipid na sagot lang niya habang binabakat ang mga bituin sa langit.

"Bakit hindi mo alam?" 

"Ewan....basta mahal kita yun na yun" mahinang tawa niya

A small smile crept into my lips

"The stars are beautiful...right"

"Yeah...lots of beautiful stars in the sky...but here I am looking at you"

I shifted and faced him...He was Intently looking at me...  I gave him a small smile

"You never fail to make my heart flutter" I lightly pinched his nose.

"Mahal kita...sobra" 

He held me closer to him and kissed my forehead....my nose and my lips.. I can feel the warmth of his body in this cold night.  I curledup at mas lalong isinksik ang sarili sa kanya..

I feel contented... I feel safe in his arms.

Binalot kami ng katahimikan...no one dared to speak....  We were both savouring the moment.
