Edmund swallowed hard as he was pushed along through the woods, at a rather fast pace. His hands were tied behind his back, causing him to continuously trip or stagger, much to the annoyance of the men.

Edmund tried his hardest to push away the memories that were trying to force their way into his mind, of the last time he'd been forced to walk as fast as he could through the woods with his hands tied behind him, but he didn't have much success.

Looking to his right he spotted the other boy, Logan, in the same situation as himself, and swallowed hard before looking back ahead of him.

They'd been walking none stop since they'd left last night, and Edmund didnt need to be told that they'd already left narnia, and he had a feeling they were now in Archenland.

They were keeping to the quiet parts of the woods, and never once came across anybody, Edmund knowing that the men obviously didn't want to get caught.

He was so deep in thought that he didn't even notice when his foot got stuck under a tree root. He did notice though he he tripped and fell to the floor, landing with a thud and a gasp.

One of the men groaned in annoyance and Edmund hardly had any time to brace himself before he felt a foot collide with his stomach, causing him to curl in on himself and let out another choked gasp. "Get up." The man that had kicked him growled, giving Edmund a warning stare.

Edmund stared at him for a moment before taking a deep breath and forcing himself to his feet, flinching slightly when pain shot through his stomach.

The second he was standing he was told to continue walking, and out of the corner of his eyes he saw Logan giving him a sympathetic look. Edmund glanced over at him and sighed, shaking his head slightly, causing Logan to sigh too before going back to concentrating on putting one foot in front of the other.

Edmund did the same, for it was rather difficult to keep walking now. His legs ached terribly from the walking he'd done, and he swore the boots he was wearing were giving him blisters.

They walked on until the sun set and Edmund was now really struggling to keep walking, Aslan knows how the men still were.

"I suggest we stop for an hour." One man suddenly said, causing Edmund's eyes to go wide with hope.

He stopped walking when he felt a tug on the rope, and turned his head to look at the group.

He saw another man nod. "But only for an hour." He said. "We cant risk getting caught."

"To be honest-" One man muttered as Edmund fell to his knees. "I don't know why we didn't go by boat, you know, go around Archenland so we don't get caught."

"You know why we couldn't." Another man said, rolling his eyes. "The reason might have something to do with our ship having a huge hole in the side of it!"

Edmund couldn't help but snort at this, and luckily it went unheard by the men. He shared a smirk with Logan, before he was grabbed a practically slammed against the nearest tree.

He sat still as the man secured the ropes, before joing the others.

"Do you think we should feed them?"

Edmund's head snapped up at that, his stomach immediately growling, and it was only then that he realised he hadn't eaten since he'd left Cair.

"We probably should." Another man said. "If they die, we die too."

Edmund frowned at this but was extremely grateful when they threw a chunk of bread and some cheese at him.

Somehow he managed to eat it, even being tied to the tree, and was extremely grateful when he also got some water.

Feeling slightly better he let his head fall back against the tree trunk, his eyes slipping shut, and within five minutes, he was asleep.

It was obviously only an hour later when he was awoken by one of the men, gripping his shoulder in a vice like grip as he was untied from the tree.

Edmund couldn't help but groan at the pain, causing the man to tighten his grip. "Quit moaning." He muttered, yanking Edmund to his feet and tying his hands behind his back again.

By this time it was practically dark, and Edmund had to strain his eyes to be able to see.

He'd barely had time to wake up properly before he was forced to start walking again, and this time Edmund had to be really careful not to trip.

It was hard to in the dark, and with a sinking heart he realised that this was gonna be a very long journey.

22nd April

Peter frowned slightly as his eyes flickered open. He lay there for a moment, trying to figure out where he was.

He frowned deeper when he saw that he was lying in bed, the blanket wrapped tightly around him. The curtains were drawn and the room was pitch black.

Rubbing his eyes Peter pulled back the blanket and swung his legs over the side of the bed, thinking it was probably around 9pm and that he should probably leave soon.

But his eyes went wide when he lit and candle and glanced at the clock. It was 5am! He sat there, looking shocked, before running a hand through his hair.

He'd over slept, and of course neither Susan or Lucy were gonna wake him.
With a sigh he thought about Edmund, he could be miles away by now, Peter couldn't bare to think about the distance him and his kidnappers had gotten whilst he'd been asleep.

Shaking his head back and forth he leant over and buried his head in his hands, tears slipping down his cheeks before he could stop them. "Oh Ed."
