before i knew it, it was already December. time flies by so fast, don't you think? in a couple of months, i'll be graduating. it hasn't hit me yet - that feeling of knowing that my life is finally going to change. when it does hit me, i just know that it'll be worthwhile.
you decided to apply for a job, in order to get some money in your pocket. mom wouldn't stop lecturing you about it, so i assumed you simply got one by force. you ended up landing a spot at the ice cream shop at the mall. a bunch of juniors and seniors work there, and the place always ends up hiring because once those seniors leave for college, they end up quitting.
yoongi worked there too, so you two became pretty fond of one another. you two went from talking at work only to talking at school and work. it seemed at you two talked a lot, because you two already had each other's phone numbers. i saw yoongi texting you during calculus two days ago. i didn't mind that much - i mean, you could use some friends after all. besides, i trust yoongi. he's my best friend, practically my brother.
i remember sitting in my car one morning, watching as you and yoongi walked into school together. you laughed at something he said, nudging his shoulder with yours. he grinned, tucking his hands into his front pockets. i smirked at the sight, shaking my head every time i saw you. it was so goddamn obvious that you liked him and he knew it too.
yoongi was known for being a player, a bastard that had girls on their knees every time he flashed them a smirk. you knew it too, which i assume is why it took you a whole month to trust him and to start talking to him. i didn't think he'd use any of his playboy tactics on you, because i didn't know he would even try and go after you in that way.
i look back at it and hate myself for thinking it was okay for you two to hang out. because if i had known back then what he was going to do to you, i would've done everything i could to stop him.
