"yoongi's outside waiting for you, minji!"
"i'll be there in a bit!" you called out from your room, the door wide open.
i was walking down the hall, a can of coke in my hands. i passed by your room on the way to mine, stopping in front of your doorway. i stared at you, watching as you sat in front of your vanity, hairbrush in hand as you brushed through your hair.
"can i help you?" you questioned, watching me through the reflection of your mirror.
"i was just passing by. you two have been hanging out a lot."
"not really"
"you guys go out every week."
"so?"
"i didn't think he was your type."
"how would you know what my type is?" you questioned, grabbing all of your things. you walked towards the door, brushing your shoulder against mine. "last time i checked, you don't even talk to me anymore."
you walked down the hall, making your way down the stairs. i turned around, watching as your figure walked away. i scoffed, rolling my eyes. i walked to my room, shutting the door behind me.
i never fully thought about your words that night until now. it was a simple ten lettered statement that held so much meaning. for the past two years, we haven't spoken at all to one another. we went about like strangers forced to interact with one another. you were right, but i was too blind to realize it.
you tried to give me a glimpse of what your true feelings were, yet i ignored you, just like i had been doing for the past two years.
