The last box you were carrying hit the ground with a thump and you wiped the sweat off your brow. It was a hot day and the fact that there was a new shipment of flour and dough didn't make things better. You worked at a cute bakery with your mother that was very popular, but secluded.

It was located in the middle of a forest right where the town road ended. You liked this life, just kneading dough and baking it in the oven to serve people. They were always pleased with your pleasant personality and outgoing nature, so business was often booming because of you.

You stretched your back and looked to the distance, the king's royal castle shining brighter than the sun. The Suna family ruled the land you were placed on and they weren't great, but there were many worse kingdoms so you were content with the one you had.

There were many rumors about the family themselves. One was that they had an heir that slept all day, which didn't sound very prosperous for the future of the kingdom. There was another about the heir where everyone believed he had fallen in love with a town girl.

Thinking about it, neither of them had been confirmed or denied. It was as if they wanted to keep the prince a secret until he was to become king. You can't judge though since you don't know the full story.

Sometimes, you thought about what would happen if you were an heir to the throne or a princess, but then you remember that you couldn't run the bakery if you were royalty.

" Y/n?" Your mother called from the kitchen.

" Yes?"

You stood up and walked to her.

" Do you remember that raspberry place we collected from a week ago? The one by the huge Oak tree?"

" Uhh, yeah I think so...why?" You opened the door to let in Mushy in, your 'pet' racoon.

Look, I know having a pet racoon is a terrible idea, but Mushy was so nice and only stole a little bit of food so it was fine.

Your mom was holding a crumpled piece of paper. " Well, they forgot to ship the fruit. And since the raspberry muffins are popular this season, I was thinking that you could get some from there."

" I can do that, but, just wondering, why couldn't we just order a quick delivery?"

" Because, "She showed you the paper, " we've already got an order for raspberry muffins due this Tuesday."

You gave her a sympathetic look and grabbed a basket with some bread in it, heading out the door to that nearby tree west of your bakery. You and your mom had found it about halfway into the forest last Wednesday when you two had gotten lost looking for firewood.

You retraced your steps as best as you could and finally stumbled on the familiar tree around what felt like an hour later, your stomach grumbling from the long walk. You were about to take the bread out to eat, but there was an ominous shuffling in the distance.

It was getting louder meaning it was nearing you. And at a fast pace, too.

--3rd POV--

Suna snuck through the securely monitored halls of his father's large castle. He didn't like being stuck in his room all the time, only coming out when it was meal time or an important meeting. He ruffled his constantly kept hair to give it slack.

He waited until the guard turned the corner on his patrol to silently get through the hall, the window he normally snuck out of free of guards. He looked out of it and to his dismay it seemed there were more guards surveying that area than usual.
