Was a bit frustrated by how slow weekly updates were and these were just piling up in my library so decided to be nice for a change :>
Finally at the part where some of the past will be cleared up lmaoo. I think I made everyone heated for long enough. This time period's gonna go on for around 2-3 chapters.

Danny's POV
"So anyway, now that he's finally got a girlfriend he decided he didn't need a best friend." I pouted at Robin. Robin sighed, "Yes yes, because you can't bear to see your son growing up." He side hugged me lazily. I glared at him.
"I'm serious here!" I frowned, "I don't have anyone else to talk to so I'm lonely."
Robin twisted his gaze away from his book, "Oh so I've been a ghost hovering around you for the past two weeks?" he snarked. I chuckled, "You know that's not what I meant~"
"we live on the opposite side of the town so we can't hang out after school for long. I also have to walk for an hour to get to your place... Ben used to walk with me home and we'd hang out till dinner time or have sleepovers a lot. Now I just read and play games all day alone." I rolled my eyes.
Robin facepalmed, "Uhuh, I think you should use this newfound freedom of yours to study. I remember you being behind on physics and history. Not to mention you failed your chemistry exam yesterday."
I scrunched my nose, "Why the fuck would I need to study that? I'm gonna be beta in two years anyway." Robin rolled his eyes, "You privileged and talented wolves." he muttered.
I smirked. Robin was always snarky, but really he's such a softie. My eyes travelled to the other side of the library, where a certain misplaced wolf was stealing glances at our way as always, with a light blush in his cheeks.
For as long as I could remember, Derek was somehow always around places Robin was. It was the same old routine. Robin would squat in one place for hours, and Derek would pretend as if he had accidentally come to the same place and bother him, but wouldn't leave until Robin did. I scoffed at my alpha. Well, there was no harm in a light crush.
Robin caught my gaze and turned his head to Derek's direction, to which Derek quickly focused back on his book's cover, which he hadn't opened for over half an hour. Pretty sure he doesn't know how to. Robin's eyes turned cold, "Why is that idiot in a library anyway? I thought this would be the last place he'd come to."
Cause you're here
I shrugged, "Maybe he finally wants to train the only underdeveloped muscle in his body." Robin giggled, " He's a smart guy. That is, he's good at thinking up ways to annoy me."
I stared adoringly at my friend as he started his little speech about everything Derek had done and everything that's annoying him. His eyes held a sense of warmth and childish excitement. These idiots can't even tell apart hate and love.
Honestly their feelings are so terrifyingly mutual that I'm a bit annoyed. I always become the object of their rants about each other. Like, please mind the single virgin that's never been in a relationship nor fallen in love here.
As soon as I was able to comprehend, I had spent my life taking care of someone. Whether it was Ben, Robin, or Derek. I had basically raised Ben since we were both in diapers, I was Robin's only friend, and I have to constantly keep my eye out for Derek if he does something dumb again.
Honestly I'm an angel. Don't know how I do it.
"....and then he freaking dropped the juice on himself instead. You should've seen his face! It was hilarious." Robin chuckled. "Wish I'd been there" I grinned.
"Well, anyways. I gotta head back. I'm gonna go help out mom and my brother pack up his stuff for college." I nodded, "Have fun"
"Is that supposed to be a joke?" he scoffed.
Just as Robin left, I saw Derek standing up from his position, arching his stiff back as he placed the book on a random bookshelf. He moved bashfully to the door, crossing my table. Our eyes met and I smirked, which he returned with a glare, "....I just happened to pass-by"
"Don't stalk him for too long. Go home for today." His face turned red and he sped-walked away.
I stretched my body, relaxing the stiff muscles. "shall I head home?"
The thought of going home so early left me feeling lonely. I used to head home with Ben and we would stay in one of our rooms to play games or even occasionally study up on some topic, but now going home meant I had to go back to an empty house. My parents were never home before 12, since they work in guard patrols.
I opened the door only to hit my head into something hard. I looked up at to see Ben's worried expression, and my heart instantly calmed down. "D-Danny, you ok?" he freaked out. I smiled, "Yea, sorry about that"
"No..it was my fault..." he frowned, genuinely depressed. I chuckled, "I'm fine! See?" I turned around to show him I was fine. Ben smiled weakly. He was always a bit of a worrywart.
"Danny?" Alisha spoke out from behind him. Ben's face instantly flushed at the I grinned at the sound of my friend's voice, "Alisha!" The small girl poked her head to the side, showing her beautiful grin.
I pulled her in for a hug, "I haven't seen you in a while!" she sighed. "That's cause you two were too busy dating to make time for me." I whined, looking at the two. She chuckled and Ben blushed.
"Anyways, what are you guys doing?"
"Oh, we were planning to study for next week's math exam." Alisha stated. Ben's ears perked up, "Danny aren't you good at maths?" I nodded proudly, "The only subject I'd pass in a heartbeat besides english."
"Then would it be possible to help us out?" Alisha pleaded, showing her best puppy dog eyes. Ben copied her. Darn my soft heart. "Fine, I'll help. Don't have anything else to do anyway."
"Great! Let's go!" Alisha squealed, pulling me by the hand. Not more then a second later, Ben's larger hands covered both of ours and we both looked at him. He had an obvious pout as he looked at us and I chuckled.
"Guess you grew some guts in the past two weeks?" he blushed.
I let go on my grasp at Alisha's hand and replaced it with his, making Alisha blush in embarrassment.
I started walking in front of them, but stopped when I felt someone grab my hand. I looked back to see Ben, "...I don't want you to feel left out..."
My heart fluttered a little and I smiled, "Thanks"
