Robin's POV
It's been a week since we chased after Danny. And let's just say, it hasn't been very productive.
"When can we go home?" San grumbled into his plate. Ben sighed beside him, playing with his food like a five-year-old. "You've been chasing him around for a week now and you're telling me NOTHING has changed?" Derek scowled, "You know we still have responsibilities back home that we need to get back to ASAP?"
"Well, it's not like there aren't improvements. He doesn't run away at the sight of me anymore and he stopped scowling when I get more than 4 meters away. He still barely answers or pay attention to me though..."
I twitched my eyebrows, "Have you tried apologising to him?" He looked at me a little confused, "That's what I've been doing this whole time?" Well, that's not what I meant, "..Have you tried asking him about the past?"
"What do you mean?"
I hesitated, looking at Derek who gave me an encouraging nod. I pulled Ben aside to the garden, "Look, I think that you're deep in a bad misunderstanding about something."
"And that is?" Ben tilted his head. I sighed, "It's not my right to say, since that's what Danny wanted. But you seemed to have misunderstood my poor choice of wording about Danny's situation right now. Danny said he would wait until you asked him yourself, and honestly, I'm getting frustrated watching you both go back and forth like this."
"Wh-what? What else did I do now?" he groaned, rubbing his face into his palms. I patted his back, "I wish you luck, son." I sniffled. He glared at me, "I'm older than you."
"Shush, let's not mind the logistics."

Danny's POV
Ben's constant stalking for a week straight has really started to get to my head. Everywhere I go I see him, even in the bathroom. I'd constantly draw back the curtains in the shower just because I felt his presence.
I swear he was getting creepy.
I've given up trying to push his away after three days. Then at some point, I'd noticed that he was always three steps behind me. Then I'd catch myself thinking how I wanted him to walk beside me, and run away.
I was the one who pushed away first, but without even trying I'm starting to get pulled back in. I hate how weak-willed I was. Once I let down my guard, he' going to have me wrapped in his fingers all over again.
I shook my head, focusing on the noodles I was boiling. I heard footsteps coming closer and for a moment, I imagined Ben's smiling face approaching mine and instantly turned, only it was Clara and Sophie. "Ah..." he already went home today.
I pretended like I wasn't slightly disappointed.
"You done cooking?" Clara asked, popping her head behind my shoulder. I chuckled, "Almost. Calm your glutton belly for a moment." She pretended to gasp, "how dare you question a lady's weight!"
"Oh right, sorry. Don't cancel me please." I joked. She raised an eyebrow, "What's that supposed to mean?" I shrugged, "I heard it from Tom's teenager. Apparently kids these days are bullying people who have harsh opinions."
"That's very hypocritical."
"I know, right?"
"Well, at least they're not killing themselves or each other." she shrugged, heading to the dining table. I refused to tell her about the incident where a bunch of kids started eating detergent pods for no reason and drowned themselves in a water filled condom. What the hell is wrong with these children.
