Did I forget to post last week? Yes. Do I have a good reason? Sorta. I had a ton of stuff to do and I had procrastinated until the last minute so I had to finish that up. BUT at least I didn't disappear for a year this time :D
Danny's POV
"So let me get this straight. That bastard is your mate that you've been in love with for more than 10 years but was too dense to realise it, and the little boy that you've taken care of since you were toddlers, who decided prematurely that he could write his own fate and that he would marry the first girlfriend he ever got, who was originally your friend, and was also the reason for your...incident three years ago?"
"Yea"
Clara's head fumed, "And he still has the nerve to fucking come here after all those years and after what he'd done to you." She stood up, "I'm about to wack a bitch."
I chuckled weakly, "Stop, you can't beat a wolf." In my head, I lowkey wanted her to do it, but someone had to have their head screwed on. I sighed, "This situation is just so crazy right now..."
Clara nodded, sitting back down beside me as she softly caressed my back, "Honey this isn't just crazy it's straight-up insane. But it has an easy solution." I glanced at her mischievous smile and deadpanned, "We are not using your new rifle to shoot my mate." She instantly started sulking, "Dammit..."
I scoffed at her ridiculous attempt of making me feel better, "I feel like you've got a more personal vendetta against him than I do." She raised a brow, "Whoever hurts my angel deserves a beating." I couldn't help but agree, but in my case, she was the angel here.
"Daddy, I'm hungryyy" Sophie whined from the top of the stairs. Clara instantly frowned, "How many times I gotta tell you to get your ass off your bed today!"
"My ass isn't leaving these sheets anytime soon before I see syrup dripping down pancakes!" Sophie remarked.
I gaped, slapping her shoulder lightly, "Language! Both of you!" I swear sometimes I feel like I'm living with savages.
Robin's POV
"I think Uncle Ben's gone crazy" San whispered not very quietly. The kids, Derek, and I were watching the overgrown man rolling around the lawn yelling weird phrases.
Derek patted my butt, "Time for action" I gaped at him, "I'm not going over there! You do it!" I said pointing at the weirdo. "You're the official guidance counsellor in this group" Derek raised his hands in surrender. "And when exactly had I volunteered?"
"When you decided to start keeping secrets from me and having affairs." Oh, this bitch is asking for it.
"Mommy, my tummy aches" Nicky pouted, tugging on my shirt. "Ok baby, just wait a second while mommy go kick daddy's ass."
"Mommy language!" San squealed. "Yes, mommy knows ass is part of the english language. Now please be quiet before mommy cuts off three pairs of asses." I take a large knife out of the drawer.
"Now babe, remember, if you cut anything down there then you'll be losing out on something too."
"Go"
His perky ass bounced as he sprinted out the door.
Ben's POV
"Alright, get it all out. What's going on now." Derek sighed, sitting beside me on the grass. I looked at him in silence. He gave me a questioning look.
"Robin made you come here didn't he."
He gaped, "Of course not! You're my buddy!" he chuckled nervously, "Also my husband learned professional butchery so he didn't really need to say much."
I rolled my eyes, "Just go. I know you don't wanna be here."
"Ok, I'll be honest with you, I'm not the best at pep talks." I scoffed, "Thanks captain obvious."
"Wanna get ice cream instead?"
"..yes"
Danny's POV
"I don't think you should go." Clara frowned. "But he's probably gonna come back if I don't."
she shook her head in disapproval, "I don't care. I'm not sending you to a house full of wolves. Literally." I snorted, "You know I'm a wolf too right?" She scoffed in response, "What type of wolf takes an hour to pick out a napkin for his daughter to bring to school and cried when he saw a boy push her on the ground?"
My eyes watered again, "B-but her pretty knees were chaffed..." Remembering the smug look on the little boy made me want to barge into his house instead and give him an ass whoop. "They were playing tag. Also, Sophie pushed everyone down to the ground."
"Whatever..."
Clara patted Sophie's head, "Soph, don't grow up like your father." Sophie nodded agreeingly. Oh, now you get along. "Anyway, I'm going. You can't convince me otherwise."
Sophie jumped down from Clara's hold and clung to my shirt, "Then I'll go with you. So you don't start crying again." Oh my god, how did I get this cute of a daughter and who did she get it from.
I smiled softly and lifted her up. "Ok then, I'll finally introduce you to your uncle Robin and Derek and your cousins."
"Wha- no fair. How come Sophie gets to go..." Clara pouted. "Someone needs to watch the house. Also, I'm afraid you might really become a criminal if you went."
Clara pretended to be considering it in her head, "I don't like prison food...fine."
