I can't believe that this is really happening. Parang kailan lang kinakabahan pa ako kung makakapasa nga ba ako, kami, ngayon nandito na kami papasok sa tarangkahan ng pinaka-magandang eskwelahan sa bansa.

It's finally happening. I'm slowly fulfilling not only my parents' dream but moreover, mine.

"We can do it, Farah!" I said cheerfully while hugging her.

"Yes!"

Ilang minuto pa kaming nanatili doon habang pinagmamasdan ang kagandahan nito.

"Oops, sorry."

I looked at the man who bumped in to me and I just replied with a smile. There are so much people in here, palibhasa ay unang araw kaya naman ay mga nagkukumahog.

When we finally found a spot, my best friend's words stunned me.

"Are you really sure in entering a long distance relationship, Aruzel?"

Woah, I didn't see this coming. I remained silent for a couple of minutes.

"You see, ang daming estudyante hindi lang dito, ganoon din sa pinapasukan ni Caden." she shrugged. "Well nevermind, just strengthen your trust with each other, okay? It's too early to think of nega vibes, sorry!" then she gave me an assuring smile.

Caden entered an international school sa province rin namin, it's the most famous one back there. School of the most prominent ones.

No I shouldn't be bothered by that, he assured me and I assured him too. Kaya namin 'to. Stop with the overthinking, Aruzel!

My phone then beeped.

From: Caden

Hello, mahal! Ingat ka ha? Nasa school na rin ako.

I was about to reply when the bell rang.

Hindi ko namalayan na lumilipad na naman pala ang isip ko kaya naman unang araw palang, mukhang magiging paborito na ako ng prof namin.

"What's your name woman at the back?" she pointed me out.

All eyes are on me now. Uh oh.

"Uh-"

"If you're not interested in my class or if you're still thinking about something that you shouldn't, then the door is open, you can just come back once you're ready." she firmly said.

I heard my blockmates' murmurs and giggles. They must be happy that someone got scolded on the first day, huh?

"I'm sorry, Ma'am."

Farah and I was on different fields that we only meet after class, kung sinong mauuna siya ang maghihintay. We live together in a condo just how many blocks away from here.

My days remained the same, Mrs. Santiago always scolds me for she says that my thoughts are always flying somewhere else.

"Aru, open the door. We're getting late!"

Napabalikwas ako at nakitang oo nga, late na kami! Usually, 8 AM nasa school na kami and now it's already 7:45 AM! I'm doomed, si Mrs. Santiago pa naman ang first class ko!

"Pwew!" I was relieved because when I arrived at the corridor, there's still no trace of our prof. I'm ain't late, Mrs. Santiago.

I'm taking my time walking towards the door because I'm so sure that there's no old professor that would scold me, or so I thought.

"You're not in some runway, Ms. Abiera." a cold voice said behind me.

Wala akong nagawa kundi mapapikit at lunukin nalang ang biglang bumara sa lalamunan ko.
