                              ——
Class had ended for the day, and Eijirou was one of the first to head back to the dorms. He wanted to give that note to Katsuki as fast as possible. Mostly because he wanted to make sure he wouldn't forget it, but also because he hoped that might help get it off his mind.
And he was also pretty curious about what was written on that note anyway. Since the new guy, and Katsuki didn't really know each other, right? So what could be in that note?
Eijirou had really wanted to read it, he really did. But he knew that he shouldn't. He was still incredibly curious though. He really wanted to read it, but he didn't.
He knocked on Katsuki's door, his hands trembling. He wasn't quite sure why, but he was still feeling a bit uneasy. That feeling hadn't gone away ever since the new student had asked him for that favour.
He knocked on his friend's door again.
Like the first time, he got no reply.
"Bakubro? Are you there?" He asked into the silence. The door was locked. He knocked again. Still no reply. He sighed, before sliding the note into Katsuki's room under his door.
                              ~
Katsuki'd been sitting at his desk wordlessly for a while now. He'd been staring at the two notes for far too long. He didn't even know how many hours it'd been. He didn't even know where that second one came from. He'd returned to his room after visiting Izuku's grave and going on a walk for a few hours, and that note was on his floor. He had no idea how it'd gotten there, or who it was from.
The note from the graveyard was half the size of a normal piece of paper, cut by hand with a pair of obviously cheap scissors. The other note, the one he'd found on his floor when he came back to his room, was the same size. Also cut just as carelessly with such pathetic scissors. Hell, if it wasn't so surreal, Katsuki would've been sure they both used to be the same sheet of printer paper.
And what pissed him off even more; the handwriting. The fucking handwriting. It was the exact same. There was no way these notes were written by two different people.
It had to have been from someone in this building, and he knew it wasn't one of his classmates. He knew all of their handwritings; all of them, he'd even compared them to that damn note before. He knew all of them, except for the one from the new guy.
He hadn't even met that new guy yet, but damn, he already despised him. He felt disturbed, in all the worst ways possible.
It made him want to meet that guy even less, and he already hadn't wanted to at all.
He sighed as he leaned back in his chair. He really had neither the energy nor the patience for this whole situation.
                              ~
Katsuki hadn't planned on leaving his dorm room again for the day. He hadn't planned on actually interacting with anyone for the day, but no one seemed to care about what he's planned.
There was a knock on his door. At first he wanted to just ignore it. He just couldn't be bothered to talk to any of those extras at the moment.
"Bakubro?" Of course, it was Eijirou. Who else would it be? Who else could it be?
"What do you want, Shitty Hair?" Katsuki's voice sounded as annoyed as usual. He didn't sound as tired as he'd expected himself to sound, though.
Eijirou didn't reply, he just opened the door, and greeted his friend with a bright smile. Katsuki almost never locked his door when he was there.
                              "Did you see the note?"
Katsuki immediately nodded. "Was it from that new bastard?" he asked Eijirou immediately.
His guest gasped. "Don't call him that! He's really nice! But yeah... It was from him. What does it say?"
Katsuki raised an eyebrow. "Why do you even care?"
"Can't I just be curious?" He asked, smiling slightly. Katsuki rolled his eyes.
The note wasn't particularly long. In fact, it was actually rather short. It was simply a question. Only one question. The author of the note, who Katsuki disliked more and more everytime he thought or heard about him, simply wanted to know when he was going to attend class next, and if he was okay. It wasn't phrased like he actually cared, more like a demand for Katsuki to go to class.
Eijirou was utterly surprised when he heard how insignificant the contents on the note were. Sure, he hadn't expected anything worldchanging, but he did expect more than that. He was almost disappointed. "Are you sure that's all?" He asked, almost hopeful that there'd be more. Katsuki just nodded, confirming that that's all there was. After a short pause, the red head spoke up again. "Can I see that note?"
Again, Katsuki rolled his eyes, but he complied, and handed the note over.
And to Katsuki's satisfaction, Eijirou had the same reaction he'd had earlier.
"The handwriting," he whisper-yelled, "that's the same from that other note!" He stared at the note in obvious disbelief. "H-how?" he asked.
Katsuki shrugged. "I'd like to know that too, you know..."
Eijirou pushed the note back into Katsuki's hands. "This is just more reason for you to meet that guy!!" he groaned in response.
"I don't want to. This fucking note makes me want to meet that guy less than before."
