We got back to Jerry's house and I noticed he was more skippy than usual... I tried asking what was wrong but he kept telling me he was fine so I stopped bothering about it.
"So how's your mother?" He finally asked after almost ten minutes of arrival...
"She'll be okay... my cousins arrives today or so... they'll take care of her." I said with a brief smile... I remembered the restaurant I hadn't been there in awhile so I added it to my places to visit today.
"So work today? Or you plan on lazing around the house all day?" I asked with a little sneer at him... he was pretty blank.
"Shit! I'm supposed to have my final meeting today by 11am." He said and jumped off and raced to his room to get changed.
I cleaned myself up and got ready to head to the restaurant... my restaurant I thought to myself and it sounded good.

Jerry's POV
"Thank you sir for making this decision... I promise you won't regret it." I said and shook his hands... I had successfully closed a deal that would bring much profit into the company and I could say my work was done for the rest of the week until my phone beeped.
I saw it was a photo attachment from Bunmi... what could she possibly want now. I downloaded the picture and opened it... it was a picture of us making out on the bed... she followed by sending a video which I obviously knew what it was... my hands felt so shaky as my phone slipped to the floor...
What was going on? I asked myself as I quickly sat down and scuffled my head in despair. I picked my phone back and quickly deleted the images myself... I knew something wasn't right about last night with Bunmi and this was the prove that something did happen between us.
I received a call from her not long after as I quickly answered it..
"I'm guessing you've seen the images I sent you?"
"Why this? What's your aim or goal! I already told you we were over!" I said angrily still thinking of what I'd tell Thelma.. she definitely wouldn't forgive this.
"I know but we were having so much fun last night I decided to take a few moments of it with my phone... but of course Thelma mustn't know... it'll be between the both of us." She sounded so evil as the words came out of her mouth... she obviously had all this planned so she could have an edge or control over me and knowing Thelma well, she wouldn't stay with me if this was to be revealed to her.
"Get lost." I said and hung up angrily flinging my phone across the half stocked office room.
"I have to tell Thelma myself." I said because that was probably the best thing to do... if she heard it from Bunmi it'll be worse and I'm sure she'll never forgive me that way. I scuffled my hair a bit as I got up angrily and went over to pick my phone so I could dial Thelma... hopefully I had not damaged it from the impact.
I quickly brushed my fingers through the screen looking for Thelma's number but the screen wasn't responding so well I guess it was affected... I managed to dial Thelma number and it was ringing.. she picked on the third ring.
"What's up where are you?" I asked nervously immediately I heard her pick the call.
"Geez slow down sir. What happened?" She asked in her usual joking way.
"Where are you? I wanna talk t-to you now?" I stuttered a bit which almost never happens.
"Okay I'm at the restaurant... are you coming now?"
"Yes. See you in a few." I said and hung up and grabbed my keys before heading for the garage... my hands were really shaky and I knew I had to sort this out today.
It wasn't long I arrived at her restaurant... I dashed in to where she was and there she was seated beautifully talking to someone who I didn't know.
"Is this him?" The lady asked as she jumped up to greet me.
"Yes that's Jerry." Thelma said was the girl grabbed my hand with excitement. "This is Maria my assistant back when I was working at my Agungi office.
"Oh hello there... nice to meet you." I said dryly as I shook her hand and snatched mine back
"It's finally nice to meet you sir. Heard a lot about you." Maria said with a big grin but she wasn't really my problem right now so I walked past her closet to Thelma.
"We need to talk."
"Okay... what's up?" She said so calmly... she obviously didn't know the urgency I was in..,
"In Private." I said aloud hoping Maria would hear and take a hint and luckily she did. "Oh yes I need to use the restroom." She lied and quickly dashed off as I was finally left alone with Thelma.
"Okay she's gone. Spill... what happened? Why are you sweaty and jumpy?"
Now that I waw face to face to her I didn't have to balls to tell her what happened... I was practically mute in front of her which made her give me weird faces forcing me to speak up.
"Uh..." I started hoping words would flow as I opened my mouth but the words were as thought they were heavy and didn't want to come out... I was lost for words on how to explain to her that wouldn't look so stupid.
"Talk na Jerry. What happened? You're freaking me out with the way you're acting and you know I'm pregnant and would soon be due... I don't need this type of stress o."
And that was what I needed to hear to keep quiet.. she was pregnant and almost due... this wasn't the type of news for her to be hearing especially now... I'd have to tell her once she's given birth.
"Just missed you that's all." I faked and gave her a fake hug but she bought it and we made out.
I knew I was a coward for not telling her but I was scared of what she might've done... everything must've happened while I was high and passed out and it wasn't my fault but regardless I screwed up.
