"hey wait"

I turned around. I was about to leave the class.

"Hey " he said rubbing back of his neck.

I smiled.

"Scarlett Rose."I introduce myself.

"Edwin. Nice meeting you Scarlett." He smiled too.

"Where you heading, I mean next class of yours?"he asked.

"Chemistry. Yours? "

"Mine's too " he checked his schedule.

" And mine's too, now can we please go, I don't wanna be late for our chemistry."She rolled her eyes.

"On your left captain Hannah ". He salute Hannah and grinned.

I chuckled.

Ethan's POV

" Mr. Jameson, it's great to see you in class this year but just remember not to be late, okay?" He said sarcastically.

"Sure...Sir."I faked smile and entered the class.

who is this guy ? And why he is with her?
My eyes were locked on them smiling chuckling.

I went on last seat.

The teacher was teaching but my mind was drawn toward her, towards them.

I shifted my gaze and started doodling in my notebook.

Scarlett's POV

" Scarlett can we please have coffee after school? This class is making me sleepy." She rested her head on my shoulder.

It was our last class of the day and seriously it was damn boring.

"Okay girl, you do need a cup of coffee" I patted her shoulder.

"Hey kiddo, what can I get you?"

" Regular and make it two." I smiled.

"Okay hon."

"Thanks Melinda."I thanked her and took our usual seat.

We were quite regular here these days that's when I get to know her name.
She is very kind woman.

"Today was horrible day." Hannah said rolling her eyes.

"Yeah, kind of. " I sighed.

" You know we could go shopping someday."

"Y-"

"I would love to go with you guys." Someone from behind me came in front.

"Edwin Brown, were you following us? " Hannah raised her eyebrows.

"No miss Jones, I work here."he said grinning and raised the food tray he was holding.

"You work here? Since when?" I asked.

"Melinda is my aunt, so sometimes I help her at cafe."

"Oh that's great." I said taking our tray.

" Yeah, it would be great to see you here sometimes." He grinned and went away.

I smiled.

What's with this guy and grinning.

"What's with this guy and grinning? " Hannah asked annoyingly.

"What's with you and him?"

"I don't know, he's annoying." She furrowed her eyebrows.

I chuckled and had my coffee.

This coffee is heaven.
