Napalingon si Midnight sa tumawag sa kaniya. Kakalabas niya lang sa kuwarto. Nakita niya ang iba pang kasamahan na papalapit sa kaniyang direksyon. Napakunot pa ang kaniyang noo nang mahagip ang suot-suot ni Fenrys.
"The hell are you wearing?"
"What? Am I too handsome for this outfit?" balik na tanong nito sa kaniya kaya napailing na lang siya.
Elegant moron.
Pinasadahan niya ng tingin ang dala-dala ni Lenox. Si Rei at isang tuta. Magsasalita na sana siya nang biglang yumanig ang paligid. Napaigtad siya at ganoon din ang iba. Pansin niyang nagbabago ang kulay ng sementong inaapakan nila, ang kaninang puti ay naging itim. Pati ang mga dingding at bawat sulok ng silid ay nagbago. Hindi lang kulay kundi pati disenyo. Naging rihas na ang mga ito.
The white light that the sconces produced turned red. The shaking stopped after the room turned into a different place--a dungeon.
"Welcome. Welcome i-intruders and a t-traitor."
A shaky voice of a man greeted them.
They turned around and saw a figure, wearing a robe and had a long black hair. Midnight thought the guy was nervous but he almost stepped back when he saw how creepy the guy smiled.
Is he the one responsible for changing the place?
"Queen i-is displeased on what y-you did." Sinundan ni Midnight ang tingin nito at nakapokus ito kay Rauis.
"Shut up, Ethan. I wasn't born to please her in the first place."
"She's y-your mother, you disrespectful c-creature."
"She's not my mom," Rauis said in a low voice but he couldn't hide the fact that he was annoyed.
"What exactly are you fighting for, my son?"
A stern voice got their attention. Behind the guy was a lady sitting on a glass-like chair. She crossed her legs while showing off his shining shoes. Her red dress and her hair that was curled up above her head made her look like a woman with power. Her aura was dominating the place. Not to mention the two men with bulky body standing beside her.
From the way she looked at them, Midnight could tell she was the ruler of Blaitheria.
Ngunit hindi lang iyon ang nakaagaw ng attention nila. Sa likuran ng babae ay mga lobong walang malay. Napasinghap si Midnight nang makita sina Oli, Lelo, Gav at Steven sa likod ng mga rehas.
Walang malay.
Agad na umakyat ang pag-aalala niya sa kondisyon ng mga lobo.Tatakbo na sana siya papalapit sa direksyon ng mga ito nang may kamay na humarang sa kaniya.
"Wait."
It was Fenrys.
"Who are you? Why would you wear a dress and sat on that shiny chair? Hindi bagay. Are you nuts or something? Or are you just lost?"
Midnight glared at Fenrys. Hindi niya alam kung nagpapatawa ba ito o hindi niya talaga kaagad nakuha kung sino ang kaharap nila.
Isang maliit na ngiti ang gumuhit sa mukha ng reyna. "Bakit 'di mo tanungin ang aking butihing anak?" she paused before continuing. "If only I had known from the very beginning, I shouldn't have raised you, you ungrateful brat."
"Thank you for raising me then," sarkastikong sagot ni Rauis.
Sa gitna ng pag-uusap ni Rauis at Silva, may biglang naalala si Midnight.
If she is the ruler, it's know our right time.
Liningon niya si Yves upang isagawa ang kanilang plano. Ito na ang tamang oras para malaman nila kung sino ang pumuprotekta sa katawan ni Silva.
