“Dinner’s ready when you are.” said Jacque through the intercom. I rolled off the bed and dragged Josh off with me. We headed downstairs and followed the amazing aroma of hamburgers and hotdogs. When we got downstairs, there was so much food on the table; hamburgers, hotdogs, salad, cheesecake, cupcakes, steak, pasta salad, and much more. “Wow! This smells amazing! Thanks chef.” Said Josh as he grabbed a plate and started loading it up with all the food. I grabbed a plate and put some food on it then we walked out to the deck and sat down at one of the tables. I walked around to the side to get drinks. “What do you want to drink?” I asked as Josh started up the music. “Pepsi, please and thank-you.” he started playing Lady GaGa’s ‘Edge of Glory. We started to eat, without a word being said between us. Finally he broke the silence. “Listen, your birthday is next week, and I want to make it special for you so tomorrow night, at your party, I will have another surprise for you.” He said as he held my hand. I looked down at the bracelet he had already gotten me. “You know it really isn’t necessary. You already got me this beautiful bracelet and  ...” I said as he interrupted me. “I know that, but I want to. You are the most important person to me, and I want to show you that.” He looked me in the eyes. “I already know that you don’t need to show me. By you saying that, I already know.” He smiled and kept eating. When we were both done, we walked around to the front of the house and sat in the hammock we have hanging between the 2 trees on the front of our property. He hopped on one side and almost fell off. He just caught himself before he fell. “We never speak of this again.” He said as he lay down. “It’s already 8:00. Do you want me to get roger to drive you home?” I asked as I picked his blackberry up from the ground. “Yeah. That would be great, thanks.” He said rolling off of the hammock. I walked up to the limo that was parked in the driveway, and I noticed that Roger was sitting in the front seat. He saw me and rolled down the window. “Roger, can you bring Josh home now.” I asked as I opened the back door. “Yes.” said Roger as he started the engine. “Com’on Josh, hop in. Roger said he would drive you home.” I said as I got into the car. “Ok, I just have to run and get my skateboard from the deck.” He said as he sprinted to the back. Ding. Ding. Josh’s phone dinged. With us being a couple and the fact that we have been dating for 3 years, we are ok with using each other’s phones. I clicked the new message, and saw that is was from, yet again, Chelsea. I wasn’t shocked at all when I read it. It said: Josh, I really like you. Do you want to go out again? Call me. Chelsea XOXO. This was no surprise because since she had been trying to destroy our relationship since grade 8 graduation. “Hey, I got my stuff and I grabbed your cell on the way.” He said handing me my phone. “Thanks, and umm, Chelsea texted you.” I said giving him his phone. As he read it I saw his face go all red. “Don’t worry, I said as he read it. Just forget it and move on.” I said as I scooted closer to him. I rested my head on his shoulder. “We need to go on vacation this summer.” I said, him kissing my forehead. “Yeah, we do. Maybe California, or how about Disney land?” he said laughing. “Can we legit go to Disney land? I’ve never been.” I asked sounding silly. We pulled in front of his house. “Sure, we will talk tomorrow, he said as he hugged me. “I’ll see you tomorrow. Bye. Love you.” He said as he got out. I saw him run up to his door and reality hit me. I was truly the luckiest girl ever!
