I felt a hand placed on my back. I opened my eyes and saw Josh. He was sitting beside me. “Heather, what happened back there?” He asked sounding worried. “I saw you run out crying and then Chelsea run out laughing, and I knew that couldn’t be good.” I wiped my tears away and explained what happened. By the time I was done explaining, Roger was here, waiting in the parking lot. “I am so sorry Heather. Are you sure you alright?” he asked as I started to grab my things. “Yeah and don’t be sorry, it wasn’t your fault. Do you want to come over tonight? We could watch movies and stuff. If you want?” I said as I walked down the steps towards the limo. “I’ll be there.” He said smiling as he walked back into the school. When I got in the limo, I cranked the music up so Ioud that Roger didn’t have a chance to ask me why I wanted to be picked up. Once we got home, before the car was even put into park, I bolted out of the car and ran up to my room. When I got up there, I saw that Giselle was just finishing putting the fresh sheets on my bed. “Oh my Heather. Home already? I will be done in a jiffy.” She said as she rushed to get all the dirty laundry. “Take your time.” I said as I set my bag down on my chair. I grabbed my laptop off my desk, grabbed my blackberry, and my iPod and as couple of magazines and headed out to the deck. On the way out I grabbed vitamin water and then set everything down by the pool. I hooked my iPod up the stereo and played ‘Bottom’s Up’ by Trey Songs and Nicki Minaj really loud. Then I booted up my laptop and logged onto Facebook. I searched Chelsea and creeped her pictures. I went back to the ones from grade 8 and saw the ones of me and her and the ones of her and Josh. I exited the screen and turned the music up louder. It was too much to take. Ding Ding. I got a BBM (Blackberry messenger) message from Josh. I just started to smile.

Josh: hey sweetie, how’s it going?

Heather: Pre guud, still a bit upset but getting better. Hows math class? : P

Josh: Good im glad you’re better J I love you and math is hell ughh hate it! R we still on 4 tonite?

Heather: aww it sucks L well have fun for the rest of the day J and yeh I will c u 2night luv u 2 byeeee <3

            Josh: ill try bye <3

I felt a little tickle on my leg. When I looked down, I saw Chico, my little boy shitzu.  He was sniffing my leg, and usually that means he’s hungry. “Hi Chico! Do you want something to eat?” I asked him while I started to stand up. “Rrrrrrruuuuuuuffffff.” He barked. “I’m guessing that means a yes.” I giggled. I made my way in and went into the cupboard with all the dog supplies. It was filled with bones, treats, chew toys, meals, water bowls, leaches and even more. I grabbed the kibble out of the cupboard and got a bowl from the dish drainer. I poured that out and set it at the back door. Then I went up to my room and went to my closet. ‘Swimming would make the time pass a little quicker.’ I thought. I started to dig through my bathing suit drawer when I found an envelope. On the card it said heather in cursive. I looked over both my shoulders to make sure no one was around, and shoved the card in the back pocket of my jeans. Then I grabbed my new bikini. It was zebra striped with lime green strings. It was so cute and I got it from H&M for $10.99. To me that was cheap for something so cute! I ran into the washroom, and slipped into the bathing suit and threw my hair up into a messy bun. I reached under the cupboard in the bathroom, and pulled out one of the many towels we had under there. I took the card from my jeans and slipped it in there and headed downstairs. This day just got strange. And opening this card would probably just make it even stranger
