The days go by slowly until the day of the big game rolls around. I’m nervous as anything so I spend the entire afternoon picking an outfit. I finally decide on a pair of dark-washed skinny jeans and a cute cropped top paired with my Arizona birks. As I’m driving to the game I flash Josh I quick good luck text and with my luck, his phone is off.
When I arrive at the field its packed. I walk to the concessions and buy myself a bag of cotton candy and scan the bleachers for Lauren. I catch Lauren waving at me and make my way over to him. I sit down on the bleachers and watch the game. The game flew by, as if it only lasted 15 minutes. They won the game and everyone starts cheering! All the players throwing their helmets in the air! Lauren races down the bleachers to congratulate Adam, and I watch at how happy everyone is. I watch Josh as he jumps from teammate to teammate hugging them. We make eye-contact. And he makes his way towards me, and I start towards him. My walk turns into a jog and then into a sprint and before I know it I’m in his arms, feeling the sweat on my bodym hes just holding me and im hoping he never lets go.
