Hey before this chapter starts I just wanted to say I've been pretty busy lately so that's why I haven't updated in like a week. Don't worry this book will continue but due to school coming back soon I've been preparing for that. I play volleyball in high school and because of COVID-19 that season got pushed so I instead picked up tennis and have been practicing that as well. Anyway onto the chapter... Chapters will most likely be posted every Saturday and Wednesday.

I woke up from my peaceful slumber. The slumber that I took on a...couch? THen everything comes crashing back. Yesterday I slept over Carolines so I could easily make it back towards the lakehouse. I carefully get up letting the blanket fall away from my body letting it pool around me. Caroline slept soundlessly beside me. The Tv muted but still playing replays of Criminal Minds. I quietly look for the remote and find it under the layer of blankets me and Caroline used. I shut off the Tv and finally stretch. Stretching out all of the kinks my body had from sleeping off a couch, and to my surprise, there weren't as many as I thought. I look at Caroline and mover the blankets I used on her instead.

I look around the rest of the room seeing it rather neat compared to how we left it the following night. I figured Liz must have come in and cleaned up when she gt home of Caroline did after I knocked out. I only shrug my shoulder and walk towards the door after stealing-wait, borrowing an outfit from Caroline. It was pretty simple and I doubt she would even notice. With that out of the way I carefully walk out front towards my car and get in.

A long car ride was ahead of me if I wanted to make it to the lake house before lunch

I could attend the memorial. Everyone playing it off as an 'accident'. An accident that unfortunately I partook in. BY doing nothing to stop it.

So here I was sitting on one of the batches outside overlooking Matt and Jeremy practicing while Damon stood on the docks on his phone. That eventful day in witch everything I've kept hidden spilled was also the day Damon sent Elena away for good. I felt horrible for Damon. Since the beginning, he's felt something for Elena, and she did drag him along for a while but once she finally felt the same way he had to let her go. It was a sucky situation and honestly hoped Damon and Elena prevailed. It did suck for Stefan as well but since the beginning, Damon changed Elena in a way Stefan never has.

"GO ahead. Make a move." Jeremy challenges Matt.

"I drove up here to be your wingman, not kick your ass," Matt replied smiling. Matt then went on hold the two mats up signaling for Jeremy to hit it but when he didn't Matt rolled his eyes and went to swing at Jer.

Jeremy easily maneuvered around it and slammed Matt to the ground. Twisting his arm in the process.

"Ahh! Ok." He taps Jeremy's arm trying to get him to loosen his grip. "I get I. I get it. YOu're a badass."
