I immediately shoot up gasping as I do.  I slow my breathing and heart rate. I don't know where I am. I look around the room and see I'm in a large bed. It was weird. I didn't like not knowing where I was and especially when some witch knocked me out.

I very carefully walk towards the door and open it. I opened it quietly and surveyed the living area. Looking for any possible escaped. I wasn't one much for violence but I couldn't just stay here. Then I see a man in a suit standing in the center of the room most of his body covering my escape. He was smart.

"You finally up Grace." The British accent rings through my ears. I look up baffled. Wasn't he dead?

"Uh, Elijah?" I ask carefully. He turns around grinning down at me. "What happened? Who knocked me out?" I ask carefully. Sure I know he didn't deserve to die but I still did;t know exactly where he stood.

"That was my witch. One of them." He replies. I hum in response and carefully walk down closer to him. "I mean you no harm Grace. I promise." He says so nobly.

"Well, sorry if I don't trust you, You did try to kidnap me and you died?" I point out causing him to laugh.

"I thought you knew so much about my family?" He questioned.

"Just because I have some knowledge doesn't mean I know everything. I at least know that when a vampire dies their not supposed to come back looking...alive."

"Well again sorry about that. And second an original cannot be killed by a simple stake, were practically immortal.  We only have one weakness, from one tree that is no more." Elijah says slowly.

"Wait did you get the small thing I left? The message?" I ask slowly. I pulled the stake out of him but I may have also left an embarrassing note. Well not for him I just left it there for Rose in case she came back. It was talking about his awesome slap although it was kinda mean to call it cool considering that was her friend but he did bite into me. Kinda deserved some of it, not dying maybe but something close.

"Of course I did. I will happily teach you how to do what'd you call it  a 'bitch slap'." Elijah says with amusement laced in his voices.

"Heh. That wasn't even meant for you." I laugh lightly.

"But um...do you have anything to drink? My throat hurts." I say rubbing it lightly. He smiled and walked over the sink.

"Would you like some food as well?" He asked his back turned to me.

"Yes, I would actually like that very much," I say sitting at the counter. When he turns back around he slides over a cup of water along with a burger I assumed he picked up from the only restaurant that's in town. "You are awesome." I smile lightly sipping the cup and drinking some water.

"I thought my coolest moment would've been at the house," Elijah states while hugging me back.

"Yeah, but the food is easily one way you become cool with me. You know the saying fastest way to a girl's heart is with food. The definition of me. " I inform him as he pulls back.

"I'm glad you're happy Grace." Elijah chuckles as we break apart.

"I am. I guess I'm also happy you're alive." I grumble lightly pouting. He chuckled and looks at me.

"I can't imagine how hard it must've been without me," Elijah says cockily.

"Yeah, yeah. It was hell." I responded sarcastically.  I then open the bag and sit on the counter and start eating.

"You want to know what my witch told me that was intriguing?" Elijah asked with a knowing smug look on his face.

"No, what was it, Elijah?" I question somewhat nervously.

"When he attacked you, your eyes were purple."

"Hmmm. Purple. That doesn't seem normal. I guess it couldn't have been me, because I'm normal..." I trail off as I steady my heartbeat but it too late as my heart jumped already.

"Grace. Why are you lying to me?" Elijah asks calmly as I take another bite of my burger.

"I suppose you already know why, don't you," I inform Elijah.

"How did it happen?" Elijah questions me. I sigh reading to start my story.

"I'm a Lockwood. It's a family curse one I inherited from dear old dad." I start.

"Carol Lockwood?"

"NO. I'm not that woman's child."

"How did you know? That she wasn't your parent?" Elijah asked me.

"Genetics. 8th grade.  Blood type. Mine is different didn't add up to my parents. I'm O-. My parents were AB+ and B+. That lead me to question things and after a little digging, I later found that my dad had an affair so I could only assume that's where my blood type came from. I knew about the supernatural three years ago. I knew what the Lockwoods were I knew about the curse but even knowing, unfortunately, came to stop it from being triggered.  When Damon released the vampires from the tomb it was chaos. I ran into a girl. Not an ounce of vampire blood would've saved her. I couldn't save her so I...killed her.  That triggered my curse but that's when I also learned something else. I mix of two species." I tell him.

"A hybrid..." Elijah trails off pitty laced in his voice.

"Werewolf and a witch. The magic I assume it was from my mom's side." I finish.

"Hmm. No wonder you're paired with him. One of a Kind." He mumbles to himself, as though I wouldn't hear. I probably wouldn't have if I wasn't supernatural. I smile at this information though. It was a freaky piece of information but I was happy about it. Because enow I had that up to my sleeve, the trump card that will ensure I protect my pack.

"He? Again with the pronoun game. Only this time I know who now." I say with a cheeky smile.

"Oh really? Well, do tell me, dear Gracie. Whoever am I talking about?"

" Klaus. After talking with Katherine her playing the pronoun game as well the only problem is she wasn't very discrete about the glances. You told me before it was a sibling. Considering it wasn't you that left the option of three other brothers. Further narrowing it down further it would make more sense to make if Klaus." I explain. "Now the only question left is why would he want me? He's never met me."

"That's not for me to say. Sorry, Grace."

"It's fine 'Lijah," I respond.

" How are you with magic?" He asks.

"I would consider myself good. I make my own spells because I don't have a family grimoire."

"That's impressive.  My brother Kol would absolutely love you. He's fascinated with witches."

"If you think that's impressive you haven't even heard the beginning of it. I can also change my eyes. So people don't know I'm different from a normal wolf." I say becoming more comfortable with him.

"Amazing..." Elijah trails off looking at me with admiration.

"Heh. Well, it's nice to know you aren't dead and all but I should head home. Plus along with what Kat said to Lean she might try something and I have to be there if she does, you also keep an eye out. By Eli." I say giving him a nickname. I also spot my bag and pick it up.

"Eli?" Elijah questions.

"Nickname. It suits you I think. Anyway. Bye." I say as I walk out the door and head towards the Gilbert residence. I quickly text Ty and my mom to let them know. I take out my spear key and open it up. I quietly head upstairs into my own room that I have. I quickly change and go to sleep. It's been a rough day.
