Donghyuck found that his class was dragging in longer than usual, but he blamed it on the fact that Renjun didn't share this class with him.

The teacher had stepped out of the classroom for a minute to take an important call, and instead of one of Renjun's trusted friends, a familiar boy sat next to him while leaning against his hand tiredly.

"You're that new kid, right?" He asked, his freshly dyed blue hair falling over his eyes slightly.

Donghyuck dropped his pencil and looked at him, trying to pin-point where he had seen this boy before.

"I'm the guy who kept bumping into you that first week," the bluette introduced before sticking his hand out. "Na Jaemin."

Donghyuck hummed curiosly, taking in the younger's features properly and finally recollecting their encounters on both occasions. "Lee Donghyuck. It's nice to meet you, Jaemin." The blonde found himself quite embarrassed that after being in the school for a few weeks now, he hadn't even noticed that the mystery boy had been in his maths class.

"I just wanted to say that Mrs. Son is known for giving out projects before the annual skiing trip. I dibs having you as my partner," he confidently said before standing up and heading back to his original seat. He turned back once more before the teacher arrived and winked at Donghyuck before setting eyes back onto his other friends.

Donghyuck merely chuckled, clearly having no choice in the matter.

He was excited and glad that he had the chance to finally be aquainted with someone without the help of Renjun.

Na Jaemin, his confidence left no room for argument, so as the teacher walked back in, Donghyuck already knew what news was going to follow.

"Partner projects!"

"So how did your last class go?" Renjun mumbled in an exhausted manner as he walked along side Donghyuck.

"Well, Mrs. Son gave us a maths project. I'm not too bothered by it though," Donghyuck replied while he thought back to the class full of flirting after they had been assigned the topic.

He felt flattered that Jaemin had chosen him over all of the drooling girls in their class.

"Did you partner with Lele? He's in your class, is he not?" Suddenly Donghyuck felt pressured to answer correctly, and the warning tone he was given led him to believe that Chenle was that correct choice.

"Of course I did. Who else would I partner with?"
