The grey sky shed a glum feeling through the cabin as Donghyuck stood by the window with a pout.
"We're snowed in?" He whined, hands tracing small designs into the clear surface as he looked at the small gap where snow hadn't quite reached the top of the window.
"The door is firmly shut and the snow was bloody heavy last night, babe," Renjun calmly mentioned as he wrapped his arms securely around the taller's waist. "I don't think we'll get out anytime soon. How about I start up a fire and we can take the day from there, hmm?"
Donghyuck smiled at this, his head turning from the window as he spun around to face the older before he leaned in to initiate a short kiss.
"I like that idea," the younger whispered as he pulled away, his glowing smile so innocent and unprepared for the malicious fate that the boy opposite him had planned.
"Good."

"I don't know what to do, Jeno," Mark frustratedly mumbled as he sat up in bed with his fingers laced with his hair. "We all know how damn charming and manipulative that ass is, but why can't we seem to prevent this from happening?"
Jeno pulled a shirt over his head, before watching the older through the reflective surface of the mirror.
"He has this power over us that I can't even seem to crack. I'm not scared of him anymore, but still I cower when he threatens us," he complained, turning his attention back to his friend, hoping that the wise younger had a bright idea.
"It's human nature to submit to threat, and Renjun follows no logic. I think we just need to be there for Donghyuck when shit hits the fan," he quietly added as he trailed to his own single bed.
He flicked the lights off, hoping that the older would sleep and let himself take a break, but to no avail.
"But that's just not good enough. Renjun will destroy that boy, Jeno. We both know that it's hard coming back from that..."
