"Jun?" He called over the banister after standing still for a few minutes following Mark's dramatic exit from the house.

The older looked up from where he was to see Donghyuck wrapped in blankets with bed hair sticking up in all different directions.

Had he not been angry and in one of his scarily psychotic moods, he would have thought of how cute the younger was, but instead he took to the stairs to lead the disoriented boy back to his bedroom where he hoped to finish some homework.

"Hey Hyuckie. What has you up?" He calmly asked as he approached the clearly confused teen. His teeth were gritted to prevent a harsh tone.

Donghyuck's brows were knitted together and his eyes shone with a glint of curiosity as he tried to decipher what he had just witnessed.

"You heard?"

The younger merely nodded, letting the warmth of Renjun's hands on his back distract him as he was led to the bedroom he had just left.

"Mark and I have a bit of a rough relationship. We have separate beliefs, I guess. But when you've been through what he and I have been through, it's very difficult to let the small arguments break us apart. He'll be back to normal on Monday," he explained as he placed the younger down on the bed, flicking the television back on to see that a random film was playing. "Well, I have some things to deal with. You watch this, I'm going to sit over at my desk if you don't mind."

Donghyuck nodded, watching intently as Renjun trailed towards the desk on the other side of the bedroom.

With great bewilderment, Donghyuck struggled to tear his gaze away from the beautiful boy. "Who were you talking about?" He whispered quickly, hand darting up to cover his mouth after realising he had accidentally voiced his curious thoughts.

A silence fell between them. To some, the dark and ominous aura that cradled the dimly lit room would have given them a sense of danger, but Lee Donghyuck found himself walking towards the older, resting his chin of the shorter's head and inhaling the masculine scent that emitted off of him.

"Who was Mark yelling about?"

"It doesn't matter, Babe," Renjun whispered as he turned on the swivelled chair.

Donghyuck's eyes widened in shock. Had he heard correctly?

"B-Babe?"
