~Peggys POV~

I went behind the café I didn't need the whole word knowing I was talking to mom. 

Mom just want to check in. Since dad just cares about Angelica and Eliza. 

I love mom she is my whole world. 

After that call I went back in to find John with the reason we were here to begin with 

Alex.

I ship it so badly but John says he is straight. Like I said before he is as straight as a fucking rainbow or circle.

The way he acts around guys isn't the problem here. It's the way he acts around Alex. 

His eyes get all bright and he gets flustered so fast around him. When I brought that up he went on full NO HOMO DAMAGE CONTROL.

I have a sinking feeling someone made him like that. Forced him to be that way. It breaks my heart thinking someone could do that.

I wipe the thoughts from my head when I see them staring at me.

I walk to the table.

''John who is disssssss''

I wanna mess with him. He knows why we were here to begin with. I doubt he would have told Alex.

Alex looked at me confused.

His face said 

''The fuck we have met before!''

''O-oh yeah it's Alex he walked in earlier''

I could see his eyes get brighter saying 'Alex' it made me smile like an idiot.

''Peggy, John told me you guys were talking about classes. What classes do you have?''

So the topic was brought up but he made an excuse. 

Huh weird.

John seemed uncomfortable.

Should I bring up the fact that's not what we were talking about?

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

''Just photography and art!''

I could tell John looked jealous. His dad forced him to do law and debate becuase 'It will get him a better job' he stopped talking about it ever since.

He doesn't talk about his family a lot even though they are richer than mine.

''Oh cool!''

''What classes do you have?''

''Law and debate''

I saw John turn red and smile but say nothing.

~15 minutes later~

''Okay anyway I gotta go so bye!''

Alex said before closing the door behind him.
