~Johns POV~

We had just got back from the party.

''Martha did you bring anything with you?'' 

''N-No.'' Martha just looked at her hands. 

''Mattie you can have some of my clothes.'' Peggy said.

''U-um thank you.''

Peggy ran to her room to get some spare clothes.

I walk up to martha.

''Do you want to stay with peggy and her wife?''

I don't wanna be selfish but I need to talk to alex and I don't want martha to overhear me.

She just nodded.

Peggy came out of her room in a few seconds.

''You can have these.'' Peggy said holding some extra large shirts and shorts.

Martha grabbed them.

''Um peggy can- this is gonna sound dumb but- can you have martha for the night?''

''Yeah of course!'' She said grabbing my sisters arm catching her by surprise.

''See you in the morning?'' Peggy asked at the doorway still holding martha.

''Yeah-''

I run to peggy.

''Don't be too loud with maria-''

Peggy turned a bright red.

''I-I won't- SEE YOU TOMORROW!'' Peggy closed the door.

hehehe.

I rush to my room and grab my phone still thinking if giving martha to peggy and maria was mean.

I scroll to alexs contact and call him.

He picked up really fast like he was waiting for it.

''Hey John!''

''Um hey alex.''

''You okay?'' 

''Um not- um actually can you come over?''

He was quiet for awhile.

''O-Of course!''

He hung up I assume to change.

I was felt to just look out my window. Huh I think its gonna rain.....

ding.

I pick up my phone.

Severe thunderstorm warning.

(AN: Is this foreshadowing because I am terrible at foreshadowing? Maybe I have done it before I don't know- Question: Have I put other foreshadowing things in the book so far? Like honest question-)

I put my phone down.

I almost break into tears just from hearing that.

But I pull myself up and walk to the door and open it.

''H-hey alex come in.'' I try putting on a smile.

He just smiles and lets himself inside.

This is gonna be hard.
