I could say that I actually survived my fourth year in engineering. After all those sleepless nights that I had this academic year, it was all really worth it.

"I told you... you can make it," I winked at Silverio because in a few days, graduation na niya.

"It feels like I'm not yet ready to graduate. I'll miss this university," he said. Napanguso ako at nakaramdam ng kirot para sa kaibigan. Sanya was in front of us, eating her fries.

"E, 'di sana nagbagsak ka ulit ng subjects para na-delay ka," she teased Silverio.

"I failed my subjects because I was lost that time. Ayoko nang maulit iyon dahil hindi maganda sa pakiramdam. I rebelled because I just feel like it," he shrugged.

"Brat," Sanya murmured.

Silverio scoffed. "And here goes again Miss Perfect," he even said the name in a singsong. Nagpigil ako ng ngiti at nag-iwas ng tingin. They may seem like a cat and dog, but they're both adorable together.

I just silently ate my food as I listened to them talking about galaxies, milky way, stars and so on. Parang kanina lang nagtatalo pero ngayon, parang walang nangyari. Nagkakasundo talaga silang dalawa kapag tungkol sa Science.

Napalingon ako sa kanang bahagi ko at nakita si Vance at iyong kapatid ni Angelo na naglalakad. I blinked multiple times as I watched them converse happily while walking.

"Seriously..." I heard Silverio say. Nag-iwas na ako ng tingin at binaba sa pagkain ko. I took a glance at them and they're already looking to where I was staring earlier.

"Huh? Break na kayo?" gulat na tanong ni Sanya. Silverio groaned and threw a piece of fries on her face.

Umiling ako. "Hindi naman kami," I answered.

"But you're always together... well... except lately?"

"God, you're so insensitive!" si Silverio sa isang mababaw na boses. Napatutop ng bibig si Sanya at ngumiti nang malungkot.

"Hala, sorry, Maeve," she told me. "Nakikita ko rin naman 'yan minsan dito. Minsan nga si Keiko ang kasama, 'di ba? Hindi ko naman pinapansin 'yun---"

"Wait, he was with Keiko?" Silverio blurted out. Okay, makapag-usap parang wala ako sa tabi nila.

"Oo. I just don't like meddling with their thing because it's not my business to attend to. Besides, I just thought na coincidence lang or something kasi 'di ba, Keiko's your sister."

"That's bullshit. What a womanizer," he murmured.

"Pero mas ahead tayo sa kanya, 'di ba?"

I nodded at Sanya.

"Yeah, incoming fourth year," Silverio answered her.

Napataas ang kilay namin ni Sanya at may panunuyang tingin kay Silverio. "Bakit alam mo? Crush mo, 'no?" I teased him.

He scoffed. "Issue! May blockmates kasi akong crush 'yan kaya ko nakilala. Well, she's a girlfriend material, but that doesn't mean that I wanna be her boyfriend, though," he shrugged. "Vance doesn't deserve her. That guy's too fucked up."

Parang may asidong bumuhos sa puso ko. Isang tingin pa kay Angel at Vance ay nag-iwas na ako ng tingin at hindi na sila binalingan pa. Kung ano man mayroon sa kanila, labas na ako roon.

Naisip ko na baka ganoon na talaga si Vance. He jumps from one tower to another. Kung magpalit ng babae, akala mo'y panyo lang. Maybe it's already his nature. Ganoon na talaga siya mula noon hanggang ngayon.
