(In the morning)

Jeffrey saw Kai was sleeping at the sofa in the ward. He kept staring at him while smiling. Suddenly, Kai woke up from his sleep  and saw Jeffrey.

"Jeff, you already woke up so fast" Kai stretched his hands.

"Let me go and buy breakfast for you! Just stay here".

"What did you just said? I can't hear youuuuu" Jeffrey smiled at him.

Kai asked him to wait in sign language. He took out his phone and messaged him.

Kai : I will go and buy breakfast for you. Just stay here for a while.

Kai gave Jeffrey's phone to check the message. He read the message from Kai.

Jeff : Okay, babe.

Kai smiled at him brightly after he saw that message.

After a while, Kai came there with some foods. He opened the porridge and started to feed him.

"Kai, it's chicken porridge. It's really boring. Give me some nice foods, nah" New demanded for some better foods.

"No, you have to eat this. Doctor said that you should eat this. It's healthy for you. Just eat this right now" Kai said it angrily and continued feeding him.

Jeffrey can't understand anything but he can understand that Kai was scolding him because he demanded for something else to eat.

"Kai, why are you scolding me now?" Jeffrey asked it with a puppy face.

Kai patted his head.

"Nothing, Jeff. I'm sorry" Kai took out his phone and messaged him.

Kai : Just eat this, nah for now. I will buy you nice foods after you discharged from hospital.

Jeff : Okay, Kai. Don't forget your promise.

Suddenly, Kai got a phone call from his little brother, Tom.

"Sawasdee krub, P' Kai. Why you didn't come to the house yesterday night? Where are you now?"

"I'm at the hospital. Jeffrey met with an accident yesterday. He lost his hearing from that. I have to be here, Tom. Please inform to our parents, too".

"What are you telling, P'? Did he lost his hearing? Omaigod! It's really serious. Are you alone at the hospital there with him? Should we come to visit? Which hospital?" Tom asked.

"It's Red Crescent Hospital. No, you guys don't have to come here. Jeff's parents are here, too. You just stay there. I will take care of him here".

"Okay, take care, P'. I will inform our parents about this. You don't have to worry, nah. Bye" Tom disconnected the phone call.

"Kai, who's that?"

"Nothing, nah. Come, let's continue to eat" Kai tried to use sign language and continued feeding him back.

"Grandpa, we already sign the papers as you wished. Are you guys happy?"

"Yeah, New. Thank you, nah. Now, we don't have to worry about anything. I can expect you guys to take care of these things well" Pawin said.

"It's okay, grandpa. Do you want any help in cooking?" New volunteered himself to help them.

"No, you don't have to help us. We love cooking by ourself. You can go to backyard to play with Theo and Coco. They didn't sleep for a long time yesterday night since you guys didn't come to the house".
