"But it's in the middle of the day."

"Exactly... Your powers work best in the day anyway, right?" Harumi spoke with venom slowly spilling from her lips. The person on the other line gulped nervously.

"I mean... yes... but if I'm seen using my powers, then the police will arrest me," The young man pointed out in a nasally voice.

"Then don't let them see you! This is a direct order. Our master needs that scroll, and I have a feeling that boy will lead us to the last remaining Elemental Masters we need. So get to work!" Harumi ordered quietly, quickening her pace away from the cafe and into an empty alley.

Once the blonde demon hung up the phone, the Master of Light tipped his hat with shaky hands.

"Well this a terrible predicament..." He trailed off with his thoughts until a ding came from his phone. The pale man glanced down at the photo Harumi just sent him of his target. He got a good look at the young lad. His sweet smile and tidy blonde hair made it almost difficult for the Master of Light to follow through with his assignment... almost...

Meanwhile, police cars zoomed through the city streets but had no sirens blaring. One of those cars held one of Ninjago City's deputies of the police department. The driver had slick black hair with black stubble on his chin. A phone was held up to his ear as he drove. He gripped the steering wheel with frustration slowly building up in his gaze.

"So, you still didn't find any evidence of the missing girl or the gang?" The driver questioned someone over the phone.

"Well the only evidence we've been able to dig up was the security cam footage outside of the Master of Metal's cell. The people who talked with him, though, weren't dressed like how the gang usually dresses," The second deputy replied over the phone. He adjusted his glasses while reading over past case files of the gang.

"I was notified earlier this morning. They were dressed up like a pack of gummy bears or something," The black haired deputy replied with a sigh.

"Do you think they're with the gang?" The second deputy asked while running a hand through his short  ginger hair.

"I don't know, Simon. Why would they talk to a member of the gang if they weren't with them?"

"To get information, maybe?" Simon suggested.

"Maybe... but we can't trust any of these Elementals. They all are way too powerful. You heard the Police Commissioner. We need to arrest any and all Elemental Masters on sight," the driver replied until static came from his radio.

"Attention all units, we got a code Elemental. Two Elemental Masters were spotted just outside the city," Another policeman spoke. The deputy picked up the call rather quickly.

"This is Deputy Tommy. I'm on my way there. Give me their location," The driver stated over the radio. "I got to go, Simon. The men just got word of two Elementals outside the city."

"That's strange. They're just out there in the middle of the day? That sounds rather fishy, Tommy," Simon pointed out while pushing up his glasses.

"Sure does. But I'm not loosing this chance. We gotta get these guys off the streets before more riots start breaking out," Tommy replied roughly. "You got that list for me yet?"

"Almost, thanks to history books and evidence from crime scenes. I believe I've made a list of all the different types of Elemental Masters there are," Simon responded rather proudly.

"Great, send it to me, would you? I gotta go," Tommy requested before hanging up the phone. He turned on his sirens and slammed on the gas pedal.

A little bit earlier, Lloyd was seen walking down the sidewalk, back towards Wu's place. Alittle ways from him, a man followed his lead. However, no one could tell because the man was invisible. He bent the sun's light to make himself undetectable to the naked eye. This power, though, would wear off as soon as he walked underneath a shaded area. Lucky for him, there was barely any shade by the sidewalk. The Master of Light suddenly slowed his pace once Lloyd was stopped by a car. The teen smiled to see his principal and Kai.
