Three weeks later~

"EL-E-MENTALS ARE PEOPLE TOO!"

"EL-E-MENTALS ARE PEOPLE TOO!"

"EL-E-MENTALS ARE PEOPLE TOO!"

The police commissioner and his men did their best to keep the giant crowd out of city hall. At least a hundred people, mostly young adults and teens, were chanting and stomping around the entrance with signs. It's been like this for the past week. Ever since Gale Gossip's interview of the ninjas' parents, a lot of people realized how ridiculous the "Banning all Elementals" law was. In the front of the crowd, a young boy and girl stood together with signs. The boy looked to be around 10 while the girl looked about 14.

"Please! Everyone, calm down. The mayor's heard your complaints, but we can't change the law," The police commissioner explained loudly.

"Yes you can! This is a democracy old man!" The girl shouted in annoyance. As the cold wind blew, her red and black bangs flew right in her eyes.

"Technically, it's a democracy and a monarchy since we have both an elected mayor and a royal family... which makes me question how that exactly works..." Deputy Tommy complained to mostly himself.

"What I mean is, we aren't going to change the law until every member of the gang is caught," The police commissioner added.

"Still, you shouldn't arrest innocent people. Elemental Masters have rights too," The boy replied, substituting for his friend while she pulls the hair out of her face.

"We don't have a choice, son," The police commissioner continued. "We don't know for sure who's really a part of the gang or not."

"All Elemental Masters have only one power right? Just write down the elements you see from the crime scenes or something and work from that," The girl spoke.

"Actually, there's one Elemental Master who can control any element for a short amount of time. So, we don't know for sure if it's the Master of Amber that's committing the crimes or the master that they borrowed elements from," Deputy Simon inputted. Both kids stared at the policeman with dazed looks. The police commissioner then sighed in response.

"The point is, there are too many variables to just let one Elemental Master go free. Until the whole gang is caught, we're treating every elemental as if they're with the gang," He spoke roughly. The two kids frowned at his response. The girl was about to lower her sign, but the boy continued.

"No, there has to be another way! Those teenagers on the TV did nothing wrong. You shouldn't treat them like criminals. Right, Antonia?" The boy asked his friend with pleading eyes. The red head stared at him for a few seconds before growing a smile.

"Right, Nelson," She replied coolly.

"How do you kids know they're so innocent?" The commissioner questioned with hands on his hips.

"Because with parents as kind as they have, there's no way they'd be a part of that stupid gang," Nelson remarked proudly.

"That's still not a valid enough reason, kid," The commissioner spoke, but the two kids were already back to chanting with the rest of the crowd.

"EL-E-MENTALS ARE PEOPLE TOO!"

"EL-E-MENTALS ARE PEOPLE TOO!"

"EL-E-MENTALS ARE PEOPLE TOO!"

"Oh for Ninjago's sake... I need a vacation," The commissioner groaned at the sight.

A while later, Seliel poured a strange chemical into a sphere. She then corked it shut and smiled at her work.
