"It's too fucking early," you grumbled, hearing Audrey's alarm ring. She chuckled raspily after shutting it off and put her arms back around you. "I have to get up early today, we've got a shoot."

"Can't you stay home?" giving her your puppy eyes, your best friend just shot you a lopsided grin in reply.

"Sorry, but nope, I'm afraid not."

"You need to rest too, you know."

Her British accent prominent due to exhaustion, Audrey sighed, "Believe me, I wish I could, honey, but I need to work."

"Fine, then, go. Have a nice day."

The blonde huffed, dragging herself out of the safety of the blankets with a tremendous amount of effort. Feeling the frigid air biting against your skin, you yelped, "It's too cold! Come back!"

"You just said I should go."

"Well, obviously I want you to stay. Please?"

"And why should I?" she asked, eyebrow raised, "You literally just told me to go, you changed your mind and you expect me to stay?"

"Pleaseeee? We can sleep and cuddle all day so it won't be cold anymore," you begged your roommate relentlessly.

"Fine."

Lying next to you, she picked up her phone and called her boss, "Morning, I'm really sorry, but I won't make it today. Yeah, I'm so sorry, I owe you one."

"You love me," you stated once she had hung up.

"Of course I do," Audrey scoffed, "If I didn't love you so much, I would be in my own room, getting ready for work."

"Well, now we have the whole day to ourselves, and you can choose what we're going to do."

"For now, we're going to sleep, I'm fucking exhausted. Maybe when I'm awake, we can do something else."

"I'm not gonna argue with that," you grinned, snuggling into her arms.

"Of course you aren't."

"I love you, Audrey."

"I love you too, Y/N."

About a few hours later, you were awoken by the hunger growling in the depths of your stomach. You glanced at your sleeping companion, whose breathing was still even and steady. Marveling at her peaceful features, you found yourself brushing away the golden strands of hair that obscured her face.

"Audrey?"

"Hm?" she hummed, still not opening her eyes.

"Audreyyyy," you cooed.

"What?" the older groaned as you gently shook her awake, "What time is it?"

"It's noon, I think. I'm hungry."

"And how does that affect me, exactly?"

You punched her lightly on her shoulder with a pout, "Don't be so mean. Let's go eat."

"Hug me first," she demanded, opening her arms. You rolled your eyes, but hugged her anyway. Feeling her press kisses onto your head, a grin etched itself on your face, not leaving, even when you wrenched yourself out of her embrace and dragged her from the sanctuary of the bed against her protests. "Now that you got your hug, let's go eat."

Audrey eventually gave in, letting you pull her towards the kitchen. "What are you making?"

"I'm feeling an egg sandwich, what do you want?"

"I'll have the same, I guess. Do you want me to toast the bread?"

"If you're good with that."

The two of you stayed there in comfortable silence as you fried some eggs and she toasted the bread, only speaking once you had finished.

"So, what're we doing today?" you asked, spreading butter on the bread.

"I'm good with anything."

"Did I show you my new coloring book yet?"

Shaking her head, Audrey took a bite of her sandwich, "I don't believe you have. I think I've got some old activity books we can do, too."

"So we're turning back into children today, I guess," you snorted through a mouthful of food.

"You say that like it's a bad thing."

"It's not a bad thing, just imagine the TMZ headlines if anybody ever saw us, 'Actress Audrey Tindall Skips Work to Color with Roommate'."

She laughed, choking on a piece of egg that had gone down the wrong way. Now laughing too, you patted her back while she coughed and offered her a glass of water. "Why do you say these things at the most unfortunate times?"

"Because that's when they pop into my head. Sometimes I only come up with the most epic clapbacks hours after the argument."

"That must suck for you," Audrey wheezed after clearing her throat multiple times.

"Yeah, it does, but I'm used to it by now."

Taking your plate, your roommate started clearing up the table, "I'm sure you are, now help me out with this so we can play."

"Yes, ma'am," you replied, drying the plates in the rack, "So, a bit of warning before I show you my new coloring book. It's, uh, kinda childish-looking."

"Isn't everything you own 'kinda childish-looking'?" making air quotation marks with her soapy hands, the blonde rolled her eyes at your explanation.

"Yeah, but this is even more childish than normal. Which is saying a lot."

"I'm very intrigued."

"I'm sure you are, now wash your hands so we can open it."

With yet another eye roll, Audrey rinsed off her hands and dried it on the hand towel on the fridge. "Let's go, then."

"Here it is!" you exclaimed, retrieving the small brown paper bag in the depths of your room, "Prepare to be amazed!"

"Will I be amazed, now, that's the question."

"Don't step on my moment."

You dramatically brandished the large activity book, completely and utterly unashamed. "Frozen? Are you kidding?"

"Nope. Now get your colored pencils so we can get started."

"I have a Toy Story one and I think I also have a Mickey Mouse."

"Then don't just stand there! Go get them!"

She laughed, ruffling your hair, before bringing out her own things. "There. Happy?"

"Very. Can I use your colored pencils?"

"Let me borrow your crayons, then."

The two of you sat on the floor of your room, coloring in complete silence, apart from the occasional exchange, which normally consisted of :

"Can I borrow the pink?"

"I don't have it."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Liar. Stand up, then."

"It's right there, stupid, next to your foot."

"Then what are you sitting on?"

"I believe that would be the black."
