Knocking softly on your door, your best friend found you in the most adorable position ever, trapped under a mountain of stuffed toys. She moved the top ones off to reveal you watching Totally Spies on your phone.
"Hey, Y/N, could you come with me, please?"
"No, thank you."
"Please?"
"No," you pouted, not taking your eyes off Sam and Alex, "I don't wanna get up."
"What are you doing, anyway?"
"I'm watching Totally Spies."
"C'mon please, I need your help in the kitchen."
"What are you gonna make me do?"
"I just need you to dry the dishes I'm going to wash."
"Will you give me something after?"
"What is it you want?"
"I want chocolate milk."
Xandra rolled her eyes and ruffled your hair gently, "Fine. But you gotta help me first."
"Then you're going to watch Totally Spies with me, right?"
"Yes, honey, I will. Now come with me."
Letting out a small huff of effort, you pulled yourself out of the comfortable warmth of your stuffed animal fort and allowed your best friend to lead you into the kitchen, where she washed the dishes and you started drying them.
"Why do you want chocolate milk all of a sudden?"
"Because, it's amazing. Period."
"You're so adorable when you get excited over things like this."
"I hope you're not saying that because you're not going to give me what I want."
"Don't worry, I bought some chocolate milk for you when I went grocery shopping. I just felt like telling you you're cute."
"Yeah, right," you scoffed, storing the dishes you had dried, "Hurry up already. I still have to dry them."
"Fine, fine, I'm nearly done."
"Are you sure? Looks like you've got a lot more on your plate."
"Do you want me to finish or not?"
"Okay, okay, I'm sorry, just do what you were doing."
Xandra laughed softly at your reaction and handed you some freshly washed plates, "Dry these, will you?"
"It's not like I have a choice, do I?"
"Unless you don't want the chocolate milk, you don't."
"This is bordering on blackmail."
"I prefer to think of it as bribery."
"Same difference," you stated.
She threw some soap suds at you, which you expertly dodged, and washed her hands. Opening the fridge, Xandra poured some ice and chocolate milk into two tall glasses and left them both on the countertop as she wrapped her arms around your waist.
"What's with the affection?"
"You're so cute when you're acting like a child."
"I always act like a child."
"I know, I know, stop complaining. Do you want the affection or not?"
"Of course I want it," you scoffed, "but please let go of me for a second so I can put this away."
Pressing a soft kiss to the back of your neck, she pulled away and let you put away the clean dishes. Once you had finished and stretched, she slid you your glass, taking a sip of her cold milk.
"Now," you said, a milk mustache on your upper lip, "let's go watch."
"Do you wanna wipe that off first?"
"Nope," you grinned as you took the milk carton from her hands and raced to your room, burrowing into the stuffed animal pile.
Xandra sighed, pretending to be exasperated as she made her way to your safe haven, but secretly she loved seeing this side of you, on those days you liked letting go of your boundaries and acted like your true self. "Y/N, I swear, if you spill that anywhere in your room, I will laugh."
"Laugh all you want," your reply came muffled by all the stuffed toys you were under, "You're helping me clean it up."
"Your addiction to chocolate milk really isn't healthy, you know?"
"I know, I know. but I still love it."
Grinning, she made sure the glasses were safely out of the way and moved some plushies over so she could bury herself in the pile too, wrapping you in a bear hug, "You're literally the most adorable human I have ever met in my life."
"I'm glad you think that, but you're squishing me, Xandra."
"Oh shush, let me hug you, you tiny human."
"Does that mean you're not going to watch with me anymore?"
"Don't be silly. You know I love Totally Spies. Even if they are lowkey stupid."
"My siblings used to compare me to Clover," you cackled, remembering the flirty blonde who fell in love with a new boy every episode.
She scoffed, but then doubled over in laughter after a thoughtful pause, "That actually does sound pretty accurate."
"I mean, she was my favorite as a child, but now I think I'm more of Alex."
"Hm, you're definitely not Sam, that's for sure, but I think you're much too outspoken to be Alex. Clover's perfect for you."
With your tongue stuck out at her, you started the show on your phone, her head resting on you as both of you were still hugging.
"Let's be honest, though," she said, "Jerry was the best character ever."
"I agree a hundred percent."
"Who do you think I am?"
There was actually no debate to your answer, but you pretended to be thinking as you braided a few strands of her sleek golden hair, which made her pinch your cheek gently. "I asked a question, I expect an answer, Y/N."
"You're Xandra."
"What?"
"Hear me out. You've got the brains like Sam, Alex's gentleness, and you've definitely got some Clover energy somewhere there. You're you, and I love every bit of it."
"Aww," she said, hugging you even tighter, "you're literally too sweet to exist. My small, fluffy, chocolate milk-loving ball of adorableness."
"You act like a bad bitch in public, but you're actually a huge softie."
"Well, unlike you, I have an image to uphold."
You raised an eyebrow at the blonde's remark, "Did you just throw shade at me?"
"I didn't throw. I lightly tossed."
"I gotta stop teaching you good clapbacks to statements."
"You literally just said you loved me, and now you're saying things like that."
"I still love you, don't worry."
"Aw, I love you too."
"But I do love chocolate milk more."
"I can't exactly say I blame you."
