It was the day of this pageant thing , I didn't tell anyone I was really entering because my mom would be there crying through the whole thing , my brother was always busy , and well those are the only people I could invite , aperantly the school was gonna watch , but only the ones that bought tickets , witch was like 400 people , I spent only a couple hours getting ready

Then the thing started , and everyone was back stage like waiting but I was waiting with Veronica , and they were calling names , it took 10 minutes for them to call mines , I hesitated for a moment and then I just went up , "what is you're goal for the next five years" "to live past it" I said , they nodded , odd Awnser but I was on the spot , then I didn't this 2 and a half hour shit were they just called everyone and asked them the stupidest easy to awnser questions , then it was almost over and they were gonna crown mrs riverdale high , stupid but idk then when I wasn't paying attention I heard , Betty and Veronica tapped my shoulder "you won" "oh" , I walked up to the last and she put on some weird crown and this scarf thingy that said mrs riverdale high, then I had to give a speach , "um in all honesty I didn't really wanna join this I thought it was dumb but listening to a bunch of pretty faces with no brain saying that they belive in world peace was even dumber , beauty pageants are a bunch of girls trying there best to fit into society's beauty standards all for a 5 dollar crown and a title , a title that we thinks defines us , but it doesent , I'm not gonna say I worked hard for this because I didn't , i had to awnser the littlest awnsers and pretended I cared for 2 hours and a half so I think I'm gonna give this to someone more deserving of it , rather than me " then I walked to Veronica and gave her the crown "here" I said , and she smiled at me and then I walked back stage , then after veronicas short speech everyone went , she ran over to me and hugged me "I see a long future ahead of us betty cooper" "me to" there was a fair , and we went there after we changed , everyone at school was there , Veronica grabbed my hand and we ran to the Ferris wheel , "isnt that jughead" she said , he was down there , but with another girl , don't get me wrong I was happy for him , it's just weird I don't know , it's not like he's mine, "I think so" "you're not mad" "he's not mine it be mad over " I said , "you're so dumb he's obviously making you jealous" "he can be petty but not like that petty" "please like he didn't date that Claire girl to make you love him" "what" I said , "howd you know about her" "I dated Archie , he told me everything " I nodded "I just need time" she nodded After that we went on other rides and stuff , with Veronica the time just passed , I never felt that before except when I was with him , Veronica went in the bathroom to touch up her makeup , "how do I look" she said , "good" , "I'm gonna go talk to Archie" I nodded "yeah i think I'm gonna go home , can Archie give you a ride " "yeah probably , night" I was at this one game were you had to spray water in this thing , and I beat this little girl , "witch prize do you want" I asked her "that one" , she pointed at a cat stuffed animal , and I got it for her , then I walked away back to my car , and before I opened it the guy next to my car opened his car and got up , Reggie "hello Reginald" I said , "I saw you at the beauty pageant, you looked really hot " I nodded , "not the time Reggie" I said , "i don't care now get in my car" I shook my head "get in the car or I'll make you" I shook my head again , then he grabbed my hair and dragged me to the passenger side , and he went to the driver "please stop" I said while crying "why would I start I just stared " "fuck you" I said , then he was choking me , he kept his hand on my neck for a while and I felt like I was gonna pass out but I felt my phone in my pocket , and I grabbed it and hit him with it in the head a couple times , it hurt because it was metal and then when he took his hand off of me I opened the door super quickly and ran back into the fair , I coudnt find Veronica , I did behind some booth , and I looked at the entrance , when Reggie walked in he started looking around , and then I went to the opposite way , I started looking around , then I ran to my car , and I grabbed the metal bar in the back of my car and I put it up my sleeve , I looked around for Reggie , when I found him I purposely bumped into him , then I ran out , I waited in the parking lot for a couple seconds and when he came out he started laughing "I'm gonna murder you" "go for it" he started approaching me and I pulled it from out my sleeves and hit him in the head , then I kept on hitting him in the face , and then in the dick so he fell , and when he was in the ground I just kept on hitting him , until he like knocked out , but I kept doing it and he was bleeding , and then I stood there for a couple seconds, and I started crying , "I'm dead I'm fucking dead" I said , no one was there gladly , then then I heard someone gasp , and I turned around saw jughead , then I dropped the bar , "I didn't want to hurt " I said while still crying, he hugged me , "I know" "he's gonna kill Me" "help me" he said , he started dragging Reggies body , then we put him in his car , "call you're mom and tell her you're sleeping over at veronicas" "why" I asked , "just do it" I nodded and then called her , and I got in the car. we drove at least 7 hours and then when we got there , at 6 am , and we put Reggie on a random doc , and then left , the whole ride we just talked , and laughed and stuff , like we used to , it was 12 and we we're almost home , "so you're seeing someone" I said , "what are you jealous" "oh you know me so well" I said sarcastically then after a couple seconds of just quietness "no I'm not seeing someone new , it's like impossible to find someone that remotely gets my the way you do" I nodded "do you hate me" he asked "is that a actual question" I said , he nodded "I would fuck Reggie mantle in a bathroom during a pep rally before I could hate you , after all you saved me , you set me me free , no ones ever done that before " "did you hate me , after you found out " "no , no I could never hate you it was just moral heartbreak , then I realized to sent it to me , and I figured you would hate me forever so I just tried to avoid you , and now I realize how shitty that was" "It was always just me around , even with my dad and polly around , mom was always out with her friends , Polly and Charles did any out side the house activity they could find , my dad was always working , and when I was alone I would go in my moms closet and I would hide there tell someone came home because I used to be afraid of being alone but as I got older I realized lonely ness is a mind set , it's what you make it , I always drove people away , or on the side of a cliff , so I figured I had no place to be mad if someone didn't want to talk to me anymore , because if I was someone else I don't think I'd talk to myself either" "my sister is some type of genius who goes to some high end school for 9 months a year and the other 3 she's going to some rocket science camp and my moms a alcoholic , she goes to rehab every month and my dad left when I was little so I had to raise me and my sister for 10 years , I've always been the golden boy but I realize , everyone loves me , and no one likes me" "that just means you have a gold personality, but nothing gold can last forever" he nodded , "I love you I really do I'm just confused , and hurt but i don't wanna hurt you" "after what I did you should feel obligated to be with me because you think it'll hurt me " I
