HER
The flight back home was basically a travel with such palpitations and tachycardia and heart stoppings that it shouldn't have been possible for Zen to even be alive for a moment.
(Palpitation = when you can sense your own heartbeat like when you're nervous, etc.; tachycardia = pulse rate is faster than normal, which is like 70 - 100 beats a min)
Hiding this new feeling... or situation as a whole... will be nearly impossible...
I said the same thing the first time...
So... I guess I can manage...
Gosh... I can't help it... I wish we could access the internet now...
But no... we have an hour to land... and I'm not alone either...
She smiled at Azi who was asleep before waving to Leah who seemed a little distracted between her typing. She'd been typing since they had strapped in, but after pondering on it for a while, Zen felt her eyes closing and sleep dawning on her senses.
She woke up to Azi tapping her shoulder before walking off.
Her hardly working cerebral machinery had definitely not processed the sounds that it had been fed, but she found herself nodding in response nonetheless.
Leah on the other hand was still typing and it made her wonder what in the world it was, but the doubts were short lived because she re-read the super special chat she had had, smile widening and cheeks reddening with every syllable exchanged.
Leah sighed and shut her eyes, putting her phone aside to rest for the remainder of the flight back and the moment the wheels hit the landing like all others, she opened the one chat she wanted to check, but was too 'un-ready' to call. She waited for a sign of network access while putting her backpack on and waiting for the people, who wanted to push through, to leave leave.
Just as she clicked out, the network finally connected and she was left with one message, but one that began really vague.
What... gosh... I need to get off soon... I'd rather save this up for later...
The two are getting up... guess I should too...
The crowd has considerably thinned tooZen turned the internet off and called her mom as they made their way into the airport for a long list of checks.
Good thing we let the crowd leave ahead... it's less crowded... and pretty breathable now...
While waiting in queue, she slipped the paper she had ripped out of her journal, and had laminated, into Azia's bag.
"Azi, you better zip your bag before someone dumps their trash in it~~~"
Hearing a soft whine, she chucklied, holding her passport and phone for her while she zipped her backpack up.
She was itching to just read it, but no. She couldn't just open it right there. She couldn't even leave voice mail because it would definitely be curious as to who it was that she was replying to in Korean.
