37. Will The Hold Last

As concerts and travel keep him busy hence, the two barely talked, but it was obvious that he was mentioning her name a lot.

It wasn't a shy Jimin thing, it was a curious one. He had talked to his parents about how he actually felt it was not superficial, but actually something precious to him. They obviously didn't stop him, but their concern was visible as they worried about the "if not" side of things.

HER

She was looking for a place to start working after having done all till then. The distance was not pleasant, but she knew it wasn't anything like an old friend who had also been in a long distance relationship once - but one which didn't end well.

Zen was most worried about her parents being understanding of the choices she had come through. They hadn't shown that aspect almost any time till then and obviously it crossed her mind way too often.

She settled on the couch after her first week at work and finally stretched and looked up a lot of the recent concert clips and pictures, smiling with memories of her younger days.

The nostalgia was instantly shut down by a call, but her pout turned into a smile and soon into an unsure look.

With a few deep breaths she managed to accept the call, but she couldn't speak.

Normally that would fluster her exponentially, but currently it was like they were just talking through their breath sounds.

After a good while she whispers out a faint little 'hello'.

He let out a small chuckle.

"Trust me I was nervous... I just got a headache with the driving and I couldn't type..."

Concern filled her voice in an instant.

"Are you sure this is okay? Wouldn't it be better if you snooze...?"

"Maybe... but...
I kinda don't want to..."

"Ah...okay then...
Also... this is the first time...."

"Ah... true...
Sorry if it was really sudden... or awkward... or anything... I..."

She heard Tae beside him asking him something and he ended the call.

That...

Not just unusual...it's surprising... they have schedules... he must be exhausted and off to rest.

HIM

She obviously didn't know that Tae was just letting him know they would be at the hotel soon.

He hadn't wished that hard for them to have their own rooms before.

He had to share and he did pick Hoseok and soon they headed off to settle.

He fell asleep instantly, worrying Hoseok and Tae who followed him in.

Hoseok wondered if he needed something and left Tae there as he got something for his roommate to drink.
