I woke up and saw the shining light outside my window, tumayo ako at nag-unat sa harap ng bintana.
"Good morning to myself, or not, we can only find out..." ani ko sa aking sarili at naglinis na para sa eskuwela, nung tinignan ko ulit yung oras ay nakita kong male-late na pala ako.
Nagulat naman ako nang makita ang black van ni Xamier sa harap ng pinto namin, nakasuot parin siya ng same gothic theme like before, but I thought it's only for a day?
"Hop in, we're gonna be late," ani ni Xamier nung binuksan nya yung pinto, at wala akong choice at pumasok na ako doon at umandar na rin yung van.
"Why are you so late?!" galit na reklamo sa akin ni Xamier.
"What do you mean? Wait, don't tell me you've been at the front of my house for hours?!" gulat kong saad sa kanya.
"Yes! I've been waiting for you for 2 hours for now!"
"My god! Why didn't mom and dad even told me about that!" sabi ko at kinain ang sandwich na dala-dala ko kanina, "....And here I thought it's only for a day," tinatamad kong saad ng hindi tumitingin sakanya.
He sighed heavily, "My parents insisted so they made me do this against my will...." I sighed, I knew this morning will be more about my headaches.
JUST LIKE THE last time, we didn't have any form of conversation inside the van and just got down at the gate and went into the school together.
Again, I can still feel stares, glances and glares around us. Siguro hindi talaga napapagod ang mga chismosa, no?
"I really can't get used to this!" I complain in a whisper and he giggled, "What?!" pagalit kong tanong sa kanya.
"You're just being a scaredy-cat afraid to leave the box, why can't you just socialize?" tanong niya habang nakatitig sakin.
"I'm not good at socializing with people, so let me think....NO!" madali kong sinabi and he shrugged, "Well, whatever,"
"Xamier, dude!" biglang may tumawag sakanya at nung tinignan ko mga lalaki itong naka-jersey.
"Teka, nakapasok ka sa basketball club?"
"Malamang," mayabang niyang saad.
"And...nasa starters ka?!"
"You do not underestimate a son of an Avallion," his eyes glittered in pride.
"I think this is were we part ways, don't involve yourself into anymore catfight again, okay?"
"If nobody starts it, then I won't," ani ko habang sumama na sya doon sa mga ka-team niya para magbasketball. Kaya pala minsan diko sya nakikita during first period.
"MORGAN!" a familiar voice shout and hugged me from the back.
"Are you okay now? How's your red cheek?" Lumiere asked, looking concerned, habang tinitignan ang mukha ko at tinabig ko naman ang kanyang kamay.
