First pass your assignments," ani niya at pinasa namin ang assignment namin sakanya. Why is our time today short? Is it because of the clubs?

"Okay, announcements mga anak. Half day lang tayo ngayon kasi ngayon ang araw ng pilian ng inyong clubs dahil next month ay Club Day ng ating school," ani niya at halos lahat ng nasa klase ay naghiyawan.

"And you know how well known our school is, so many outside schools will be playing to us in each clubs. We all need to participate on this," ani niya at bigla akong nawalan ng gana, this is such a drag.

At tumunog ang bell sa hallway at marami kaming narinig na either naghiyawan, nagsisigawan o naguusap sa labas. "Okay class dismiss, everyone out now," ani ng aming teacher at lumabas na kami.

"Sa cafeteria muna, I'm hungry and I've only ate a small sandwich this morning," sabi ko habang hinawakan ang kumakalang kong tiyan.

"Maybe because....It's wider over there?"

"It's not even that wide on the entrance, either way I don't even give fucks about what the school decides." I scoffed and walk to the door of the cafeteria. And it's flooding with people.

Lumiere's lunch box is wrap with a cute napkin and the snack are: a rice with furikake toppings with ketchup on top, a heart shape egg, slices of apples and some octopus wieners at the side.

"That's so Japanese....too Japanese I say" comment ko sa kanyang pagkain.

"Don't mind it, yung ninang kong may small business sa Japan ay bumalik dito sa Pilipinas and she's the one who made me this," ani niya.

"She must be a sweet ninang then..."

"You bet," ani niya at kinain ang kanyang pagkain.

"Speaking of which, sa Japan nga pala kami magki-christmas ngayong taon," ani ko habang kinagatan ang aking cheeseburger.

"Eh?

"About that, both of my parents are making something behind my back again, so we can't go too far away this time of the year," I said while averting my eyes in every direction.

"Hey, guess what-," napatingin ako kay Lumiere dahil baka may chismis nanaman siya sakin about the other companies, I'm thoroughly interested in someone else's lives. A bad habit of mine.

"It's a complete coincidence but we're planning on going on a vacation in Japan too,"

"Oh..." disappointed kong sinabi.

"Why do you look disappointed? Come on! I'll talk to mom about this para magsabay na tayong magkaibigang pamilya," ani niya at napangiti naman ako.
